New entry, old sayings, similar problems…

Time heals all wounds… Isn’t that the old saying? Well, they have settled into life in the new city of their choice… In her opinion they are a little too settled in their new ways… He has become more affectionate as of late… He is more at ease in this new apartment… She is not so happy with their new arrangement… She thought she would be… But space is a commodity in this little room, and she is not so happy with the placement of things she loves in a storage facility… She wants a home of their own.. He tells her they are too young yet… They need time…

Work is draining… She spends so much time taking care of someone else’s home and children, that when she comes home, she can’t take care of her own home and husband… She wants something else… She can’t quite put her finger on what she wants out of her life, but she knows that this isn’t it… Why is it that she can never feel accomplished and happy at the same time?

She feels stuck… But not with him… She loves him… Always has… Always will…. He is her past, present, and future… When she looks at him, her heart still flutters… When he pulls her close and pulls her in, she feels like they are the only people in the world… Maybe stuck is a good place to be…. As long as they are together… She hopes that her hopes for their future are enough to carry her through this dry spell of life…
