Five children and a clean house

Five children were in her home today. She has forgotten what babies are like, her youngest is 4. She is somehow happy and sad that she doesn’t have a baby right now. “It would be so easy, everyone is much older now.” “It would be so hard  everyone is much older now.” Her day was spent cleaning the house, which some would say is impossible, but she loves the challenge. That babysitting for a couple of hours turned into 6 hours and she ran out of snacks. She needs to go to the grocery store. Sorry kids, Mama got slammed and so you just get to deal with my failure at the moment. Her car is clean though  and so is the house. She needs to clean out her husband’s truck and then everything is done. Eating dinner out tonight, Mama has worked too hard to cook and mess up the kitchen. Today has been strained with the eldest. She hopes that healing will come for both of them. Those bastards who raised her messed her up really badly. Maybe tonight there can be a game or something when she gets home from work. Maybe tonight things will go back to normal.
