she invited the boy down the street, Grant
Yo!
Uhhhh…I haven’t written here for a couple weeks. Things have been super-chill compared to the emotional snapshot that I captured in my last entry, so that’s a good thing.
I’ve been chuggin’ along like usual.
Oh! Duh…I bought myself a new computer. I upgraded from the one I’d shared with my previous life and am now writing these words on a spiff-tastic iMac. It’s a light blue, thin-screened desk top without a tower (I’ve still got my old machine on the table behind it because my bonus father wants it for its bones or something). The best thing is that it’s all paid off and mine and amazing. I also got some cool new headphones made by a company called Bowers & Wilkins which makes them seem like they graduated from some sort of academy or that they share a bunk bed with an expensive bottle of Scotch whiskey.
My brain’s doing well with the latest medicine regimen. I’m pretty much constantly some level of stoned, but that’s not a bad thing, it’s orders of magnitude better than having those freaky-ass seizures to which I am prone.
It’s seriously amazing-feeling interacting with the internet (which is basically my outlet to the world because I can’t drive or move around on the planet without getting ridiculously lost) with this new machine.
I felt like a bad-ass grown dude researching and going out and purchasing this thing (I got it at Costco, I put it on my Costco credit card which is linked to the membership which is in my mother’s name and then we stopped at the bank and I gave my mom the cash so that we’re all square).
Holy jeez, I just realized what time it is (6:53 PM) and I haven’t eaten dinner yet (I usually eat at like 5ish). I’m not that hungry, really.
Whatever.
