You look so good in blue

 Blah.
That’s how I feel. Just blah.
My grandmother’s fat ass dog severely overweight chihuahua has prevented me from getting a good nights sleep the past two nights in a row. His ass will be on the couch tonight.

So I’m pretty decided that I’ve changed my mind from veterinarian technician to computer specialist. Yeah huge jump there I know.
I just don’t think I can work with animals in that type of environment. I’m afraid if I do I’ll become numb in some way and not love them in the way like I do now. They’ll always be in my life, but for a career I just don’t think it’s best, not at the moment anyway.
So I’ve always been fairly good at computers, and with the help of google I have been able to read and learn and teach myself how to do new awesome stuff with them. Right now I’m in the process of making my old computer run two different operating systems. Though I despise Apple and all of it’s products, I think I’m gonna make my Dell run Windows 7 and Mac software, just because I can.
Another reason of change in degrees… money. Yeah, I had planned to do what I wanted that made me happy and didn’t care about money, but money is needed to be happy, to some degree. Who’s happy eating hot dogs and canned lasagna constantly? No one.
I don’t need an expensive car and huge mansion to be happy, no, that’s not what I’m saying. I love my little 2004 civic, it does just great. I like little cute houses too. I don’t need an extravagant lifestyle to be happy. However, being able to pay bills, and pay bills on time, and take my mom out to eat, maybe a small vacation once a year or so, and real lasagna that’s not out of a can… those things would make me very very very happy.
I know I’ll be good at it too. I have extreme confidence in my ability to learn. Brittany said she could always see me being a nerdy tech chick. I am starting to see it too.
