Do what you want

 It’s time to get my shit together.

It’s the 1st day of August, and in 18 days school will start back. So. I’m officially registering for my classes at some point today. I have to take them at a campus that’s a good 45 minutes -1 hour away depending on traffic. Curse me living in such a small town. I will be going full time so… awesome. It will make it harder finding a job but… going to try anyway. I have to change my resume from "I love animals" to "I heart computers" cause I officially changed my major on Friday. Computer information systems in networking. Yep, sounds boring I know. I have many reasons for wanting to choose that at the moment, and the negativity I am getting from a couple of people regarding it, is just pissing me off.
I seriously, without a doubt, do not want to hear why you think it’s a bad idea. For one, I’ve already researched my shit and know the pros and cons of the job. I don’t want to hear "too much work, you won’t make enough money, the job field isn’t big enough, what I’m doing is better, do this instead it makes more money" and so on. I want to hear "good job Amy, do what you want, it if makes you happy then go for it, I am completely supportive and have absolutely no negative thing to say" … When I ask you your opinion on if you think it’s a good idea or not, then I’ll be open to hearing your reasoning. As for now, just shut the hell up.

So. Yeah. I’m off to eat toast and peach preserves. I gotta lay off the sugar because it’s bad for my insulin resistant pre-diabetic having self. I just love it soo much though.
Then playing with an old computer I got for mom, I am going to try to bring it back to life. It shall be fun.
