Legislative Terrorism

We sat in the second pew this morning. As a rule, we seat ourselves back about five or six rows, however, today the pews were filled. This particular United Methodist Church has a new pastor, and everyone wanted to have a look-see. To greet the new pastor, the church busy-body had arranged a (dreadful) presentation of children singing along with a cd of "professional children" singing something about being "neighbors". As embarrassing as it was, it is best for the new pastor to get to know first-hand the depths to which some can trivialize a worship service in relation to children and their views as to what church can mean to them.

Said group of children were arrayed in the pew in front of us. At one point, I thought about a scene on a previous Sunday, when the exiting pastor had stated that, when she had first arrived at our church 13 years ago), none of these children had yet been born. That thought begins to take on more meaning as time goes by. All of these children plus a handful of older teens, have been dealt a cruel hand by those in power in Washington DC.

It is an article of faith, among socialists, that their actions are always for the benefit of the masses, and that the costs will be borne by those undeserving oppressors thereof. These children have become the targets of an assault upon their well-being that can only be described a being zen in its perfection of hateful and vile nastiness. It has zen perfection, and its perfection is of such a nature that it could only cause zen-masters to cry at the degree to which their principals have been defiled.

The fact is undeniable that the National Debt burden that has been placed upon these young children is enormous almost beyond description. For sake of discussion, let us place that number at somewhere near $45,000 per child in 2008 dollars. This is stated in 2008 dollars so as to avoid the naive assertion that the burden will be reduced as the massive inflation that is underway takes its toll. (Please note that the trolls operating as apologists for Obama deny that there is any inflation at all. They have not read the latest memo from the Democrat National Committee.)

Those children will inexorably reach adulthood and, if they be upstanding citizens, will seek employment. Those fortunate enough to find a job (with or without a college degree) will likely find employment only at 30 hours per week For an employer to offer more than 30 hours would be to trigger a requirement on the part of the Federal Government, that the employer purchase health insurance for any such employees. Thus, the income of those entering the workforce will be only 75% of what an entry level position would have provided in prior years. The shift to the 30 hour work week has added to the illusion that jobs are being created in the 2013 economy. As 40 hour per week positions are being changed to 30 hour per week positions, there is an increase of 33% in the availability of jobs … junk jobs of only 30 hours per week.

Absent any provided for by an employer, those children will be forced to purchase health insurance themselves. That burden will be paid for from a considerably reduced expected income. Generally speaking, young adults do not need health insurance. Any premium that they pay will not be matched by services for many years to come. The money thus spent will benefit older people. It is an intergenerational wealth transfer, and a rather massive one at that.

Our society is set up in such a way so as to protect children from harm. There are strict laws against child abuse. Child Protective Service works toward removing children from homes in which they are in danger. Laws exist against child molesting and child pornography. The institute of marriage was designed to provide a stable structure in which a family could be raised. Children are not allowed to go out on Halloween unless accompanied by an adult. Entrance to movie theaters is restricted by a set of standards designed to protect children. Special car seats are required for children of a certain weight or age. Bicycle helmets are required for children. Gates must be constructed around swimming pools to prevent accidental drownings. The list of special protections for children in our society is extensive, and need not be further elaborated here.

Now comes a socialist administration and a corrupt Congress, and legislation is passed that visits endless economic damage upon children. Where is the Media that, in another time, would have put reporters and cameras at the site of a tragic even … a child having fallen in to a deep well … and would spend hours and days reporting on all of the efforts to bring that child back up safely? Why are the reporters and talking heads mute, when even their own children’s lives are being destroyed by legislative terrorism.

I was reading this and about the children when the thought crossed my mind is how can liberals support abortion when it lowers the amount of children to some day share the huge tax burden they are creating. Now, here is an example of the Left-wing troll’s inappropriate response. Where, in this entry, have I indicated that I "hate America"? What kind of mindset would account for such a mis-understanding of my notions about our great country. I seek to educate the 50% (+ or -) of voters who twice made the error of voting for the Fool Obama. Special criminal efforts may have been responsible for pushing the elections in the direction of this great error, but the fact remains that close to one half of the voting public elected to office a man who truly hates America. This article attempts to enlighten them as to the damage that they are doing to today’s children, that un-enfranchised future voting bloc. They will bear the full burden of naive calls for "hope and change".

This is all because the economic threat to children is much less obvious than when they let loose convicted child molesters to repeat their crimes. By the time the kids become qualified tax payers, they are so busy trying to establish a life for themselves, they pay taxes like robots. And this is what the feds consider SUCCESS!
