Fruiting Avocado Trees

Over the past week, I have been watching the younger two of our three avocado trees.  At first I was hopeful, but now I am certain that they both have blossoms on them.  With the tree that grows in front of our kitchen, we have, at times, been overwhelmed with avocados.  After one particularly harsh rain storm, I picked up 66 windfall fruit off of the front yard and surrounds.  One month later another lesser storm brought down an additional two dozen.  Given the abundance, I do not complain about the number lost to having the local squirrels mugging our avocados.  When I hear one of them hit the roof, and roll down and hit the ground or walkway (sometimes rolling out into the middle of the street), I am hopeful that none of the furry little bastards was hurt in the fall.
