Craziness

Last night got real crazy. My buddy Conner from soccer was throwing himself a birthday party. He lives in this house way up in the mountains. So I drove all the way out there, and it was just awesome. His place is in the woods, with no neighbors around. He’s a DJ, so he was spinning and playing just awesome trance, and everyone there was feeling it and dancing. I brought a huge bottle of wine, most of which I ended up drinking myself. Then there was a vaporizer, which I hit endlessly, and some mushroom tea, which I tried for the first time ever. It was a really crazy combination. I was really clear-headed, but super stoned at the same time. I guess that’s how the vaporizer is supposed to work. I took off my shirt at some point, and lost it, so I went out to my car to go put on a sweatshirt, and ended up crawling into the backseat and falling asleep for a while. I have no idea how long, probably like half an hour. Woke up, came back to the campfire. They had thought that I went down to the river. So its a really cool cross-section of people. I had never been to a party like this. Then just like that its 4AM. There is no way in hell i’m driving, so I crash out on their futon. Wake up at 9, get in my car and make it home in time for my 10AM class, amazingly. Though I think I feel asleep for most of it. I was still really out of it. Walked in and got a shrimp burrito at this little place on the way back to my apartment. Totally random, but it was damn good. Then I basically went back to sleep all afternoon. I woke up a couple of times, but basically slept until about 5. I’m still feeling a pretty beat now, but I’m alive again. So, I’m going to Disneyland tomorrow. I’m way excited about that, but I have to get up at 6:30 in the morning and i’m driving, so that part’s less exciting. So quiet night in store for me tonight for sure.
