My son the homemaker.

     Ever since both of my sons were born they have never played with a stuffed animal. I would give them one and they both would throw it on the ground crying. Well to day after I picked them up from daycare and took them home, Mikey spoted me with a cabbage patch doll I have had for atleast 15 years. I was going to put it up because my nephew had it for some reason this weekend when he was visiting. Mikey spotted it and wanted it. He took it from me and hugged it, and carried it around like an actual baby. He was smiling the whole time. He even tried to give it to gary. Gary wanted nothing to do with the doll and pushed it away several time as Mikey tried to give it to him. Mikey kept on walking around holding the baby doll like a baby and just smiling. He gave it kisses and sometimes bite it. He bites sometimes whrn he is happy.

     Is it me or is it just wierd that my almost 2 year old son would rather play with a baby doll than a stuffed animal or another boy toy like a dump truck?  I dont mind him playing with the doll. But if my husband ever found out,he would disown Mikey and put him up for adoption. It was very cute to see him love on it like a real baby. Perhaps this shows that he can be gentle with smaller kids and maybe this may prove that he will be a good fateher some day.
