My parents forgot my birthday

My parents forgot my birthday which was on the 30th of March. I finally told them the next day, and both of them had the classic oh shit deer in the headlights look. God it was classic. It was worth them missing my birthday to see the look on their faces. Today they did give me a card and money. They did tell me they were talking about my birthday the week before. I did have to force a happy birthday out of the hubby. He doesn’t celebrate any birthday/anniversary/holiday. But I knew that. It was a good B-day, even if it was late.
