I don’t know…
I don’t know what I am doing in life. I will be turning my mid 30’s next year and part of me still wants to work on that associate of arts degree and the other part thinks that I will be too old when I finally graduate because I only take a couple of classes at a time. I tried to take 4 at a time in the fall of 2018 and that was too much and I was stressed out and didn’t get to hangout with my family very much. I know that degree doesn’t mean much but I also know that it is a little higher than a high school degree. Right now I am signed up for 2 classes and I am paying out of pocket for my school. We have had a lot of financial stuff come up, I needed new tires on my vehicle, we have to pay a deductible on my husbands truck because he went into the ditch and there is some damage to the front of his vehicle and after that he will also need new tires. I hope we can get all of this taken care of because I really want to pay our vehicles off so that stress isn’t there anymore.
I’m missing warm weather right now, as long as we can get things taken care of we may go back to Florida for my birthday. I don’t really want to celebrate at home and wanted to get away. We don’t usually go back to the same place but we have a friend who lives there and we couldn’t really go out of the country again as much as I would have loved to! We want to eventually go back to Norway to see my husbands family.
Things here with the family stuff is… well as it always is. My sister in law took money from her daughter but says she is going to put it back before her daughter finds out. We want to setup a different bank account for her so that can’t happen anymore PLUS she HAS to save money if she is coming with us on vacation because we can not afford to pay for everything for her.
Still having a bad time with my Grandma passing away. I think of her everyday and miss her, wish I could hear her voice and have her give me advice. It’s been a rough year and the only good thing that came out of it was our trip to Greece and getting to meet my Greek family 💙🇬🇷
{hugs} You CAN still hear her voice and her advice – the only problem after they pass on, is that we have to listen a hell of a lot more carefully, and it’s hard.
GO FOR THE AA!!!! You’re in your 30s, you’re a BABY (I’m not being condescending, I’m just a lot older than you and am using hindsight, ’cause I used to think just like you). I got my AA way later in life than you are considering 😉 And now I’m thinking of my BA or BS, just have to find the right program. It will be worth it, just jump in with both feet!
