No Alarms and No Surprises Please…

Hi Guys,

We have had a break through! After almost an hour of talking to AOL this morning, and then being hung up on by Tiscali and then exactly 2 hours on the phone to BT, we should be able to order broadband tomorrow. WOOHOO! It’s taken it’s time, it’s cost a lot money but finally all the lies should be, I can’t think of the right word or expression here, but tomorrow should be a red letter day mark it on your calendars, Sam and Chel should be able to order broadband and you know what that means… faster porn!

Anyway between spending our lives on the phone today we went out for a picnic, it was very nice except we had planned to go to Brandon Hill Nature Park and we thought we were there but it turned out to be a private garden kind of things surrounded by houses, it was nice and there were lots of business-type people having lunch but we found where we were meant to be eventually, it was just around the corner and it was very pretty. Because it is quite near the top of a hill it has great views of all of Bristol, and there is a tower you can go up and get even better views, if AOL were working I have photos to show you.

Anyway after climbing down the tower we had an ice-cream, I think I should go into the ice-cream business, it’s a license to print money, I remember when a 99 actually cost 99p not £1.30! I know I am complaining again but ti has to be done. I had a apple cider lolly and it made me feel quite drunk although there wasn’t any alcohol in it, it must have been a sugar rush or maybe the ice-cream seller had put rohipnol on my lolly, anything is possible.

Anyway we wandered around and sat for a bit after that, and then came home to speak to BT, we went on the phone at 4 and finished at 6, of the 2 hours we were on the phone we only spoke to someone for about 30 seconds. Bollocks does is call valued and chuff off are you sorry that you haven’t answered me. I hate being put on hold. Curse you Hakkak!

Anyway we made chicken fajitas for tea, it is now my job to make the tortilla but we have misplaced our rolling pin in the move so I had to flatten them using a spent wine bottle, I know what you are thinking, that’s classy! Anyway I was nice and now I am stuffed.

Chel is watching Superman again! I am listening to music, again, but I haven’t listened to Radiohead for ages and you have to admit OK Computer is a great album, I’m not sure I would say that it is groundbreaking but it is good and it was fantastic when it was released before they started doing all that electronic rubbish with juddery videos.

To finish with tonight I will tell you 2 things.

1. MY PHONE HAS ARRIVED! And I love it, I have already put Chel on hold. And we used the hands-free function for BT earlier too. I love my phone, when AOL is better I will post photos of me and my phone.

2. Along with my phone, Chel’s boots have arrived and we think we have found a pair that fit, which is good, especially because I hate hsoe shopping with Chel. Yeah, I really liek these ones but lets look in every other shop in the world as well and then come back here much later to buy the first pair I tried on.

With that I will leave you,

Speak soon,

Sam
