Streaming live from my brain

– I saw two movies this weekend: Adam on Friday and 500 Days of Summer on Saturday. Both were awesome, though I think Adam was my favorite of the two. And not just because Joshua Radin’s music made a surprise appearance!

– If you’re laying in bed trying to defeat insomnia, The Anthem by Pitbull is probably not the best song to lull you to sleep. Bed dancing will occur.

– I’m leaving for Colorado tomorrow. I’m not even close to being ready. I’m not really in the right frame of mind to be going, but it’s way too late to back out now.

– Also need to plan a trip to San Francisco before the end of the month. Holy freaking crap I’ve been doing a lot of traveling this year. The airport has become my second home.

– Life, I live you. All is groovy!!

– Okay that last thing is totally untrue, but Simon & Garfunkel were singing it so I couldn’t resist typing it.

– And now the Monkees are singing to me about a Daydream Believer. I am the biggest dork ever. Let’s see what else shuffle has in store for me, shall we??

– Wow, the next song was a track from the Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights soundtrack. I’m pretty sure that earns a big fat facepalm.

– I just realized that by the end if the year I will have two DVDs out. Holy shit. Getting laid off from my office job was the best thing ever. Soon this straight-to-DVD shit will be out the window and I’ll be taking over a theater near you. MUAHAHAHAHA

– *melts into a puddle* 6 Underground by Sneaker Pimps just started playing. I can’t recall any specific memories that are tied to this song, but it always makes me think of this heavenly mix of sex and drugs. Specifically I get images of this girl April’s house floating through my head. In high school her mom was a "cool mom" so I frequently found myself spending my time after school ingesting various substances and fully consenting to underage sex. God being a teenager was fun.

– I seriously hope I never grow up.

– I tried to sign up for a kickball team today (yes, they have teams for that particular form of awesomeness!!), but they require that players have health insurance. *headdesk*

– It’s 4:23am and I’m not even vaguely tired. I’m restless as hell and sort of wish I had more nightowl friends. I’d go drive around but My gas light is on and I don’t have any money to fill my tank. Woo for being broke!

– Okay, I’ll finally shut up now.
