Woot woot!*

Over the weekend Roger tackled our garden in the front yard. It goes the length of our driveway. He wanted to lay down new fabric so that it should create less work – less weeds. Our trees drops all those helicopter seeds. Trees grow everywhere. If you don’t get them right away, they grow fast. Some of the sprouting trees, we have relocated them to where we wanted, a few years ago. One for instance, I thought would help shade majority of our front lawn. It’s so hard to keep it from burning out. So hopefully when this tree gets big, our lawn won’t burn out. Anywho back to the garden. Last year, Roger had gone around and raised all the brick that frames the garden. Over time they have sunken in. I tried to help with clearing out the garden, I believe I mentioned in the last post. It’s too hard with Bruce. We have an exersaucer that he has grown bored with, but tried. I have a kiddie pool, he didn’t want to stay in there. He’s eating everything off the ground since it’s new. I did manage to rake the pile of leaves that he pulled out of there, while Bruce was sleeping. The garden is finished and full of mulch!

Then we tackled the garden closer to the house, it has a birdbath there. I was having trouble getting Bruce to lay down for his nap. We decided to put his swing outside. We propped the umbrella up so that he was swinging in the shade. We got the garden cleared out during this nap.

Bruce is currently napping. I’m going to finish his curtain. I’m actually sitting on the floor with the laptop with the fabric next to me. I better get it done.

Yesterday and today I brought the picnic blanket outside and Bruce and I hung out on there. He did good with staying on the blanket. He grabs leaves and crumbles them. It’s neat for him. I have to keep watching him and saying "no eat". He seems to really like it outside!

My mom went to the thrift store today and there were 2 jogging strollers there. She called and asked me if she should buy one. One was $19.99 and the other $12.99 and Tuesdays is 25% kids stuff. She said it says jogging on there and they look good. Hopefully it is! Now I can’t wait to get it sometime this week! Now I can rollerblade or jog with him! Well the jogging, once my boobs go back to normal!

*I thought I’d answer some of the notes here too. SIL has a fence to use in the yard. She needed to use it at their big party in August to close of the Turkey oil fryers. We never took it back since it was then winter. We might ask for it when we see her Mothers Day.

Our pack n play is currently at my parents’

 I’m going to take it back this weekend d since she’ll be watching him just at our house now. I don’t know how well either will work. I don’t think the PNP will work but the fence thing might.
