Big boy bed/work schedule

Bruce is down for the night in the crib. This is the first time, he’s been sleeping in the bassinet. He should be ok since he has slept in the pack n play a few times now. The first time he slept it that, he didn’t sleep a whole lot. I think that was more of it was a new place (hotel) AND new bed. At the cabin he slept in the PnP and he slept normal. The bassinet seemed to be getting close to small. I was going to wait til 2 months but oh well. I did get a waterproof mattress cover yesterday at Target, which I really wanted before he slept in there. Man this morning when I picked him up his upper back by the collar was wet. This boy is drooling so much!

My mom offered to babysit tonight so we could go out. She suggested doing something with Chris and Kalin since we haven’t. Honestly we don’t really go out much. So instead we asked my mom if she wanted to go to Acapulco instead. That was this morning we asked her. Then like at 4pm, Roger’s dad text him to ask if we wanted to go to Acapulco and the same location we were going to, just a half hour later than we were going to go. It was weird, what’s the odds of that?! So the 6 of us went there. MIL got there probably around 7, when we got there shortly after 6. That’s no big deal waiting but we were trying to fit this in with Bruce’s schedule. Yeah he needed a diaper change so I did it, oh man he started screaming in the bathroom. I tried feeding him some, which is hard to do in the stall. I finally got him calmed some and went back to the table. He was still fussy and we finally left. We were all done eating and had paid anyways. Turns out when we got home he had a wet diaper, how much you wanna bet he did that right after his change? Then I change him and he lays on the table soundless. Really? Couldn’t have done that at the restaurant? lol. I knew he was hungry too.

I would’ve brought a bottle but Noooooo. My pump stopped working yesterday. I called and they’re sending me a new tube and motor. Which I think it’s the 3 way adapter thing (the part on top of the bottle where the tube connects. I’ll get in Monday, so we’ll see what happens.

I think I have my job situation figured out, I’ll just have to call work next week and see if it’s ok with them. I’ve still got the weekend to figure it out.

My manager had said I could have a set schedule, so we’ll see. WEDNESDAY: work 6am-2pm. Roger will bring Bruce to my mom and pick up. THURSDAY work noon-6pm. My mom will come here. Roger will be home by 3is or earlier. SATURDAY and SUNDAY 6am-2pm, Roger will be home.

The only thing I’m uncertain of is Wednesday. Do I do both days noon-6 or do Wed. early. Doing early means my mom actually has him from 6am (or if Roger has to drop him off a little before then) -2pm unless Roger gets off early or doesn’t work. That means she has to be up early. She says she doesn’t care. I was just thinking then she’d just have to come here once a week.
