7 months and running

Bruce is another month older! He no longer is a baby, he’s a person. He’s sitting on his own, unassisted. He can’t get himself to that position on his own yet. If he’s laying down, he grabs our hands and pulls himself up. He LOVES to stand. He can’t stand unassisted, but I think he stands pretty well! He has this little play table that he can stand at. I’ll have my hand around his waist or my hands on the table, him in between my arms. If he starts going down, I’m right there. For Valentine’s Day I kept singing "you are my sunshine" but instead of sunshine, said Valentine. I sang that over and over and he’d "ooh aahh" with me. I really think he says "hi" sometimes. His hair is coming in some, got a fuzz head.

I’ve decided I need to get my butt on the treadmill. I enjoy running, just not on the treadmill. I like that energy boost it gives ya. Last weekend wasn’t such a great weekend and I’ve been so mopey. I need to do something. Then of course right after my first run, it appears my first after baby period showed up. That could explain the mopeness and bad mood. I do feel like I’ve been running on little sleep and staying out late last week really didn’t help. I don’t think Roger gets the "little sleep" part. He wakes up when Bruce does, but I’m the one tending him. Naturally Roger is an early riser, unlike me. He sees I go back to bed after Bruce does and thinks I get enough sleep. It looks like it but it’s not solid sleep.

I’ve only run twice this week and I’m feeling good. I’m starting out slow, both days 1 mile. Later on, I might try the stroller. It’s not a jogging stroller, so I don’t know how it’ll go. I wanted a jogging stroller but the wheels are so big, I didn’t need a stroller that takes up my whole trunk. I really don’t want to get another stroller either.

Oh my goodness, he is the cutest little guy ever!

I love the side by side pic showing the changes! He gets cuter every day! I am sure you would agree! He looks like he is about to say something! I do love the onesies you have. I wish I would have thought of something like that for my girls. Oh well! Keep up the running! Too bad we live far apart or we could exercise together!
