I’ve ALWAYS pictured myself with 2 kids, boy and a girl. But within the past year or so, I see it as 2 boys. Having a kid is hard work. There are times, days, that it’s a breeze. There are times, never a full day really, just a period during a day, that just doesn’t help with the idea of having a 2nd one. I’ve threw it out there a couple times to Roger "You know you want another cutie someday". I don’t really get an answer. The little bit I got from him is the same as I think. I don’t know if I can handle two.

I threw in there that I don’t want to wait a long time before start trying again. His oldest sister is 7 or 8 years older. Although there is one in between them. If controlled, I’d like it to not be that far apart. PLUS, I’m 32. I don’t want to get into my upper 30’s really. Also there’s the thought of not knowing how long it could take, since it took 4.5 years to get Bruce. Ideally I’d like to start trying in December/January. I really want to go to Idaho next summer and that’s the beginning of August. It’s every two years. Bruce was born 2 weeks before it.

So folks with 2 kids, I’m curious on your experience. I do tell myself. If I were to get pg right away, Bruce will be 2. He’ll be older than he is now.

I could never have an only. No matter how crazy life is, I love that Brady and Maddie have each other. Yes, it’s more for daycare, diapers, etc…but I think they’ll have a really great bond. If you’re gonna do it, go for it.

2isnt so bad, they do entertain each other. Before Max was born Kate was getting to be too only child bratty-ish. One is a lot easier to get things done with 😛

I couldn’t imagine my life without 2! Of course I want more! I love the spacing between my girls (32 months apart). I am sure it would have been closer if I hadn’t been in school. But righ tnow the age difference is perfect! Love having 2!

I have never been as exhausted as I have been the last eight months. Of course my daughter doesnt seem to believe in sleep so that is a big part of it. Two is crazy sometimes, i miss being able to take a nap when one is napping since thy never seem to sleep at the same time, but then there are moments where they are so sweet together and I would never do it differently. I just hold on to hope that one day I will sleep 8 out of 24 hours.

Oh and mine are 4 1/2 years apart. That has definite benefits, he is potty trained, can pour his own juice and help with simple tasks

Oh and one last thing. We had a lot of trouble getting prego the first time, but were surprised the first month off bc the second time

Not all, but most only children turn out well. 😉

Love having two! Adding Greyson into the mix was so unbelievably easy, it made me wonder how I ever had trouble with just one! I also love the three year spacing between the two. It’s been perfect!
