that was actually really fun! *edit

last night, not only did i get the nod from the trainer (who seriously tried to kill us all in the conditioning part of class-holy crap what a workout) for nailing the drills but i also sparred with dennis. and i had fun doing it. and i took him down with a leg kick. he TOLD me to kick him. he says i’ll be wearing shin pads next time. LOL. he’s just teaching me right now so he’s not hitting me back but it was fun to learn how to fight. i was really surprised i liked it. my sister said i could get my anger out where i have a great alibi for it LOL. so true. i need to get contacts though if i’m going to continue getting more and more into muay thai kickboxing.

tomorrow is my author’s night at the library. nervous! a bunch of people have said they are coming. my aunt is coming so i’m sure i will have to pose for 500000 pictures i will never see. she is a notorious picture taker. she took pictures of my mom and me at work! LOL. she stopped in to give my mom something and then couldn’t help herself.

i’ve been trying to get up before beau in the morning and get a shower so i look (and smell) decent to drop sawyer off at school. there’s this teacher that always looks nice and feel like a grub so i try to look nice. i usually do by afternoon but i never see her then so morning is now a priority too! *so this is what i threw on today:

note to self: those jeans are flattering. i used to hate wearing them for some reason. the shirt has a cute pocket on the front (should’ve straightened the shirt out) and a hood and that’s my new fave bracelet.

still waiting on so many frickin editors/bosses. ridiculously slow. sheesh. i might’ve quoted a bit high for a job with a site i’ve worked with before but 0.10 a word for someone with as much work as i have lately is very good. i get much more than that for another site i work for. he hasn’t gotten back to me so i’m afraid i went too high and he can’t afford it. at least get back to me and barter! i’ll likely go for it. LOL. i do like the job so i hope he’s just delayed.

i’m going to see robby krieger and ray manzurek of the doors!!! in august. i bought the tickets yesterday. takin my man on a date 🙂 i’m excited. i just couldn’t pass up this opportunity. though i wish i could’ve seen them in their prime, all 4 of them, it’ll still be something to remember, i’m sure.
