getting patched up (caught a sucker punch at the beginning of the fight when they touched gloves. you’re supposed to touch gloves, step back, and then start fighting but the other guy touched gloves and threw an overhand with the other fist.)

YEAH!!!! **the girl in the background is cleaning up blood. when she bends over, all you see is thong and crack on the DVD!! hahaha

  that’ll make a good scar to commemorate the day with

hopefully someone has more. it only lasted 22 seconds so it was tough for anyone to get pictures. a professional photographer took some so we might have buy some of his. we’ll see. i saw a DVD of it but not a very good one so hopefully someone’s got a better one. dennis said our nephew took a good one so he’ll probably call him later to get it.

*there’s some confusion about the sucker punch. sorry about that. it happened as they were touching gloves. technically, dennis should’ve kept his hands up but he wasn’t expecting the guy to throw a swing immediately after touching gloves. you’re supposed to (by fighting etiquette) touch gloves, step back, and THEN start fighting. the guy was probably just overexcited. i doubt he really meant to do it. haha dennis didn’t even know it happened until he went up to see some relatives and they were saying what a sucker punch it was and saying what a jerk that guy was for it. more of an etiquette thing than an actual rule. you don’t even HAVE to touch gloves but it’s the respectful thing to do.
