you don’t have to, but i think it’s easier to start at entry 1 with scrapbook pages

i like this layout. the hearts are cute next to beau 🙂
on the 2nd side of the layout, there’s a little "newspaper ad" about needing more food for growing boys

i know i have a lot of improving to do, a lot to learn but i do like a lot of my pages. i think i sometimes go too simple and i need to learn to add just the right embellishment but i seem to improve by doing. for the christmas ones a couple entries back, i went back and added to them and found i vastly improved them that way. i guess i have to "edit" to get it right 😉 also, you can tell when i tire of a page and give up on it.
all the pages are 8×8, btw. i’ve taken to working on 8×8 pages lately.
last night, i started our Vacation 2009 pages but didn’t get them done yet. i did them 12×12 b/c the vacay 2007 pages (haha apparently we went nowhere 2008) are 12×12 and i got a nice set of paper for Christmas that i used. i’m almost out of pictures to scrapbook but i have a whole file to print yet. i hope our group has a crop this month on a day i can attend it!

The first scrapbooks I’ve done are way simple. I didn’t realize how far out someone could go when I was doing them, but then again, I’m not sure whether I’m patient enough to embellish so much.

Thank you so much for sharing these! I always do my pages in 12X12 unless they are digital ones (I have a book especially for the digital ones). I find that if I do a page and get bored/frustrated I can come back to it and edit it later and it turns out much better. I really need to start taking pics of my pages to share. But then my lazy/sick butt didn’t get the pics from Christmas off the camera til last night! And lol I am so freaking behind on my pages. I don’t do them in order and that has been a big issue with me. I got everything set out to do the Thomas birthday last night. I still need some extra paper though. I thought I had more than I do. I hate when that happens!!
