dennis gave sawyer a bath tonight. afterward, he decided to clip sawyer’s nails on the couch. he wrapped sawyer in a towel first. and totally missed the fact that sawyer said "bum" part way through the clipping. he heard him (i wasn’t sitting with them. dennis told me after. i almost wish it were me who didn’t hear him. dennis is notorious for not listening. that’s why i’m so disappointed; this is the one time he should’ve listened!) but didn’t put two and two together. dennis ended up with pee all over him and the floor took some of the spray.
and we missed our chance. i wish dennis would fully listen. he heard him say "bum" but didn’t really listen. i’m so disappointed; he tried to tell dennis. i hope he gives us another chance soon. 
however, dennis took him into the bathroom and sawyer stood behind his potty while dennis was cleaning up his lap and tried to pee in the potty. he missed completely but he tried!
LOL. he’s a little confused but he’s trying. dennis put sawyer’s diaper on while i was typing this. sawyer told him "bum" again but when dennis took him to the potty, he’d already pee’d in his diaper. *sighs*
one thing’s for sure–i’m really glad he’s trying.

RYN: For sure, men can be so loving but so frustrating all at the same time! :/ I hope that we get to go over to Hobart too, the weekend we’re going for the reunion would be perfect to stay an extra day because the Tuesday in Melbourne is a public holiday, and the Monday has always been considered an “unofficial” day off for a lot of people. I know my Kinder group will have 10-12 children (instead of 25) that day… it all just makes sense to stay and look at the venues we’re interested in, seeing as though we’ll be paying for flights anyway!

You know what’s neat? A lot of us are going through the potty training phase right now! That is excellent that Sawyer is verbalizing his need to go potty. I’ve noticed within the past week Spencer saying “pee pee” and tugging at his diaper. Sure enough… We’re back at it too!

The PDA did come with a print manual (the info in the manual tells one how to use the PDA if they are sighted so the book isn’t much of a help to my bf), but the GPS part of the product my bf has didn’t come with a print manual. There was a CD with info on it on how to use the PDA, but not much on how to use the GPS part of the product. Some of the info on the CD did talk about the GPS, but againnot much of it is of any help. My bf knows how to delete things off the GPS that he doesn’t want. For some reason this week it’s not letting him delete things off the GPS. How did you come up with Hard Rock Cafe as the resturant it might be that my bf and I might go to when his parents visit a week from tomorrow? Yes, Hard Rock Cafe is the resturant that my bfs dad wanted to get a t-shirt from for someone he knows. I hope you don’t think I live in the city the Hard Rock Cafe resturant is in that is in the state I live in. What does Sawyer saying Bum have to do with him needing to use the bathroom?

Now I see why Sawyer said Bum. Why did yu use the word Bum instead of just saying do you need a diaper change or do you need to use the bathroom? I know there are Hard Rock Cafes not just in the US. Have you ever been to a Hard Rock Cafe before? If we go to a Hard Rock Cafe when my bfs parents visit this will be my first time going to one. My diary does say what state I live in. You could figure out what city the Hard Rock Cafe resturant is in my doing a search online with the state I live in. That is good you don’t want to know what city I live in. I didn’t know hooters sold t-shirts. Have you been to hooters before? There is a resturant about 20 mins away from where I live that has items one can buy from it before you go into the actual resturant to sit donw and eat at. There was a resturant in Savannah Georgia that my bfs parents bought a t-shirt and cook book from for my bfs grandma. So saying this Hard Rock Cafe isn’t the only resturant that has a store in it that ppl can buy a souvenir from it.

I guess I can see your point that it is easier for babies to understand short words and phrases. That is good you do use full sentences with him as well. That is ok you have not been to hard rock cafe. It’s ok you have not been to a hooters resturant as well. It’s ok you don’t want to know what city I live in. I guess you are right that who would take the time to actually search for the area I live in by looking up hard rock cafe. Actually if one did look up Hard Rock Cafe in the state I live in that still wouldn’t tell them what city I live near.
