…i will yap about what i bought the boys so far for easter. lol

at the dollar store:

Beau: 2 books (1 colouring, 1 to read bc i get sick of reading the same ones at night and naptime)

Sawyer: 2 books (1 connect the dots spiderman and one mazes spiderman), play-doh 4 pk

both: gummi bunnies to put in the easter eggs and hide around the living room

dennis: chocolate egg

*scrapbook stuff

at wal-mart:

both: chocolate bunny (HOLLOW!! no solid chocolate for these fellows), a huge thing of bubbles (still thinking about a bubble maker too)

baby: a sock monkey bc it was too cute to pass up ðŸ™‚

*i got this scrabble card game i’ve seen advertised on TV too! and snickers for dennis for after he weighs in (5 for $2.50)

the old navy stuff i mentioned the other day. we’re going to do some more shopping today and see what we can find.

i could’ve sworn there was more…i told Beau he could pick something and he didn’t find anything he really wanted at either store. he would look at things and end up putting them back (or i did if i distracted him bc i didn’t want what he had.)

Beau had to get his 15 month shots yesterday bc he is waaaay behind and can’t go to Best Start until he’s caught up. he’ll finish up his shots next week (the nurse doesn’t like to do 4 at once and Beau’s behind) and go off to Best Start. he thought daddy was taking him away from Nana and FREAKED out in the doc office. ugh. then he just continued to have a bad day. and a bad night. he slept with us.

** oops. i forgot to mention the heartrate was high (i think it was high 150s) and i am measuring 25 weeks. eep. i did the same with Beau, measuring big, so i’m not worried. i get to stay with my family doc til probably 32 weeks and then i have to switch to my OB bc i want to have the baby in a different city (you know, one with a maternity ward and a birthing center. i’m too posh for common emergency rooms LOL) i have to do another ultrasound next week. it didn’t look like there were abnormalities but the radiologist wants the techs to have another look at the heart and fetal face (?)

Poor Beau, hopefully tonight will be a better sleep night for him… On the pus side, you get another peek at your baby! 😉

You’re on top of things. I don’t have a thing put together for Easter. lol In my defense though the grandma’s usually bring quite the Easter extravaganza for the kids so I don’t feel like I have to find a ton of stuff for them.

RYN: It’s from Tangled

April 21, 2011

awesome stuff! oh that scrabble game looks fun 🙂

April 21, 2011

I see that in TONS of ultrasound reports at work. If the baby is hiding the face (sounds like yours was just plain hiding everything!!) they make them do another one in a few weeks to have a look-see at the face 🙂

oooh gummi bunnies, num num!

April 22, 2011

Are you talking about scrabble slam? I love that game! ryn: I saw a MW twice during my pregnancy with Keagan- so it was fairly unassisted. I wanted an ultrasound, so I had to have a doctor or midwife in order to get one. I really wanted an assisted pregnancy and an unassisted birth with Evangeline, and maybe we will with baby number 5, whenever that happens.

I think you like to shop more than anyone I know, LOL. Have a wonderful Easter my friend!!!!

RE: Ooooh you get PAID to talk about fashion? I didn’t realize that. How fun! Well, it’s no wonder you like clothes so much then! LOL. I’m pretty much a fashion clueless person. LOL.

RYN: They do have zipper hooks but they’re sold(here) as medical equiptment so not everyone can get ahold of them. I hear ya on the boobs, mine are pretty big and I always feel naked if they’re hanging out but sometimes no matter how hard I try there’s a little bit more cleavage showing than I intend.

April 23, 2011

ryn: I have written about it in the past- those entries probably are on private now. I knew I wanted a homebirth, but we didn’t have any homebirth MWs in our area, and I didn’t want to drive an hour to use a birth center. The more I looked into it, the more confident I felt. It was such a spiritual God-thing, to me.. trusting God, knowing He designed my body for it.. etc.

RE: That’s cool. Well – I used to write articles for free all the time. LOL. I wrote a magazine in highschool just because I have always loved to write. But it would have been much cooler to have gotten paid for it!

I hope that all is well with the baby! You got quite a stash for the kids! Awesome.

April 24, 2011

lol i thought for a second you were talking about the feathers being painful. then i remembered its mostly about my toe hahahah. its pretty ugly that’s for sure, and all i want to do is my stupid insanity and i can’t.

April 25, 2011

RYN: Damn us wives mooching off husbands as we give life to/care for their children and keep their houses clean and food prepared for the hard working bellies. We’re so good for nothing! Cause you know if they had nannies and housekeepers and personal cooks they’d all be willing to work for no pay too 😛 Alyssa just had a thing for staring at the floor that day lol Trying to walk in certain patterns and what not, can’t really do that in crowded places silly kid.

RE: Thanks. I wish there was something I could do. The doctor doesn’t really seem to care about my constant fatigue, sad to say. I have been through blood test after blood test, even a diabetes test and a thyroid test and a food allergy test. They can’t seem to find anything wrong, which is usually how they diagnose chronic fatigue syndrome, by ruling out everything else. I bought a book on managing Chronic Fatigue syndrome but I haven’t read all of it yet. I supplement with vitamins but that doesn’t seem to help either.

ryn: I didn’t get a tattoo while pregnant… lol.

April 25, 2011

ryn: LOL Yeah I meant when I was pregnant with the twins, they ignored it… and did the same thing when I showed up with a new tattoo yesterday. 😉

I am not preaching BUT, you can get a letter that exempts a child from certain vaccines based on religious or personal beliefs. A school cannot legally turn a child away b/c they do not have certain vaccines. I am off my soapbox now. ;o)

April 25, 2011

RYN – delayed vaxing is goodgoodgood!! :oD

April 28, 2011

awe, poor beau – he thought he was gonna see nana and got shots instead? no wonder he was pissed off lol 🙂 that was alot of shopping, but you always were the master hehe 😀
