it’s friday!

i love fridays 🙂 they mean a weekend with dennis and it’s a long weekend here (thanksgiving), which is nice too.

this morning, i crawled out of bed at 7:30. i half-snoozed on the couch until i had to get up and get ready b/c we had a play date. my friend’s kids are 4 and 2 (a month older than Beau), so very close in age to Sawyer and Beau. they stayed for an hour and a half and then we had lunch.

we’re going to take them out for supper b/c i STILL have a gift card my mom gave me ages ago. we got Beau a Mr. Potato Head to play with in restaurants (we keep in the car) and since he hasn’t seen it yet, i’m hoping supper will go well. he LOVES "Spud" and will sit for a LONG time playing with the ones he has here at home. we might do some shopping (we have a wedding reception tomorrow and i’m not sure dennis has anything to wear) and drive around looking at cars. we’re not buying yet b/c our car is paid off now (this month!) and we want to put that money elsewhere for now but we’ve been looking for fun. the focus has been a really good car actually. the only thing we’ve really had to do to it is put tires on every couple years. no major breakdowns or anything crazy in the almost 4 years we’ve had it. dennis replaced brake pads and stuff like that but nothing major. and now that we’ve moved and he’s not driving to work on a really hilly, curvy road, the tire replacements have happened less often than they used to.

yesterday, before dennis went to class, i did my walk/jog. holy crap. my body was being stubborn. worst run ever!!!! i felt like an elephant. ugh. stupid fall. i hate cooler weather. though i wasn’t as sweaty, which was nice, i think my body feels cold and stubborn. i miss summer 🙁 i also think my body likes to run in the morning more than at night, though i did fine when we ran the track monday night, so i dunno. i guess it was just a bad run. dennis says it happens.

i have to figure out what i’m wearing to the wedding tomorrow night! eep! and another wedding in november. i hate november 🙁 dennis goes away and it SUCKS. he’s gone for 10 days usually but his trip will be shorter this year b/c of the wedding and some of the guys have their first fights at  a big venue so he might come home early for that. i hope so. we’re a good team and i’m not meant to do everything without him.

anyway, hope we have a nice night out. it’s hard to say with my little munchkins.
