…and beau hasn’t eaten since like 11:30. i’m pretty sure i fed him BEFORE i talked to dennis online and not AFTER. then we went up to the restaurant where my mom works, b/c it stopped snowing, and he’s been sleeping ever since.  it’s much quieter for him with sawyer at school.

sawyer got hurt at the superbowl party sunday. he says another kid, who got into all kinds of trouble being a monster (serves his parents right–they’re jerks), pushed him. not sure. we do know he fell into a chair and had a bit of blood but nothing serious. that other kid is the sneaky kind who will hit another kid when he thinks no one is looking. i PRAY sawyer doesn’t end up like that. and his mother had the audacity to say that she was telling her youngest son (he’s a very mild kid) that sawyer likes to wrestle and stuff b/c his dad’s a fighter (i think she said "does all that fighting stuff" or something like that.) excuse me? my son’s not the one bullying ALL the other kids. sawyer’s not the only one who got hurt by him!! we do know for sure that it was that kid’s fault that a little girl got hit and i SAW him hit another little boy for no reason. this kid is school age so he should know better (and does but doesn’t care.) and his dad is such a wuss! LOL the kid won’t know what hit him when he challenges a kid with some skillys his own size! i am so scared sawyer is going to be like that. one of his cousins is and i fear being called by teachers all the time.

dennis was thinking and he said it’s always going to be sawyer’s fault (whether or not it actually was) JUST b/c dennis fights. i hope not. that’s so unfair but probably so true. oh well, at least he’ll be able to defend himself.

anyway, other than that, i got to chat with other mommies and stuff. that’s always nice.

tomorrow, we have beau’s 4 month appointment. we are thinking we are going to have to give in and get another car seat. his car seat says that he has to be under 26 inches long to be in it. he was 24 at the beginning of december. i don’t think he’s at the weight limit yet but still…we’re going to buy a new one that converts into a booster for sawyer and beau will get sawyer’s old one.

i’m dying to go shopping at a store called bonnie toggs. beau has NO 9-12 month clothing box. so weird. we have 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, and 12 and up. we just don’t have the money to be shopping frivolously though. i did get overpaid (i’ll basically be skipping the next pay to make up for it) though so i might be buying some new undies (i so need some) and possibly a scrapbooking tote. i need one for the monthly crops. i have to look at the one at wal-mart and see if it’s what i want. it’s only $40. if it works, it’ll save us so much trouble. i’ll be walking to the crops come spring so i need to pack lightly. (i’ll use a wagon or buggy, of course but it’s across town.)  i know those things are frivolous (well, not the undies) but it will save a lot of hassle. beau can wear a tee and a diaper as soon as it gets warm enough and he grows out of sizes every other week. i told my mom about it so she’ll likely show up with some clothes for him in 9 month sizes. that’s just how she is; she still buys my lunch when i go to the restaurant most of the time…or she tells my dad to if he’s there. sometimes she lets me buy my own. ๐Ÿ™‚

anyway, other than that…nothing is going on around here. i do hope we get to do some shopping tomorrow after the appt. that’s what i was getting on. here’s to hoping!

beau’s waking up…

ryn: I know a lot of people have liked Water For Elephants. I just read the summary. It sounds interesting but a like a bit of a downer. What’s your take on it so far? I’m tempted to request it. Hope you get your shopping fix tomorrow.

undies are mandatory!! ๐Ÿ˜› Growing kids are expensive to clothe eh?

I was thinking that–since Dennis is a fighter people are going to get the mistaken impression that it’s what you teach your kid to do all the time (even though trained fighters are far more disciplined and able to control their tempers)

I think a tote sounds pretty practical really. I mean it’s a one time expense that will make it easier for you to do something you should do for the sake of your sanity.

:o) Have a good day tomorrow, hope the appt goes well and you get to go shopping x

RYN: *grins* I hadn’t explored the Maintenance tab yet. You know what… you CAN download your diary into new formats using 6.0. Brilliant! ๐Ÿ˜€

RN: I was suppose to write an entry on what was going on and everything but i dont think i ever really got around to it. She was living down Mississippi with her mom they was part of that very bad hurricane a few years back (Katrina) and lost everything. her mom is still trying to get there life back together. She goes to school in the morning and work at night and was just having a hard time so we offered to bring her up here with us till she got things back together =]

shoppingggggggg shoppinggggggggggg that’s bad of parents to give sawyer the wrap cause dennis fights. wtf!

February 3, 2009

Aw, isn’t it nice to have a mom who buys your lunch and buys you baby clothes? That will totally be my mom.

February 4, 2009

Your mom sounds really great.

aw that’s unfair to Sawyer to have that stigma attached to him!

February 6, 2009

I doubt sawyer would become like that for a variety of reasons, but probably the #1 reason is that you’re even bothering to ask yourself if it’s possible. Usually the parents who have out of control children tend to look the other way when problems are developing or even long after they start. That’s my impression, anyway. It would be silly for anyone to judge sawyer just because of his dad’s

training. Usually the rough kids at my school are the one’s whose parents are either idiots or not around, not the ones whose parents have hobbies or martial arts backgrounds. Well maybe that sounded a little harsh :/ but it’s true!

i mean ones not one’s. Me and my typos!!
