holy babies batman *

since jan 14th, i’ve had 4 friends have babies. all boys but one. 3 of the friends are sisters. all over 8 pounds! *oops had that wrong. one was a little guy at 7 pounds 11. one was 9.36 about the same as Beau (he was 9.3 – i don’t know what numbers came after 3, if any.) good job, girls! and i have one OD friend who had a fantastic homebirth of a baby girl!!! congrats cassie!!!!! i am pretty certain that all FIVE births were all natural births. the one friend has no choice-the city she lives in? NO epidurals unless scheduled or emergency c-section. none whatsoever. i would place a bet on the others all being drug free as well (well, obviously cassie’s was.)

saturday, we took the boys to play at an indoor play place. though sawyer had some issues when we first got there, beau was amped right away. we got some food into sawyer and then they played for a couple hours. they had dennis going ALL through tunnels and all over the place (beau can’t go alone and i didn’t really want sawyer alone either) bc i HATE tunnel slides like that.

then we ate at the nearby a&w for 2 for $4 mama burgers and off home for bedtime (we went later in the day. we’re not get going first thing ppl. plus dennis had to work then had class til noon. THEN he set up the treadmill in the laundry room. did i mention he bought a treadmill?)

on sunday, we went to the arena. sawyer is getting a bit better at skating. he will try harder than he has before, which is good. Beau LOVES when dennis skates around with him in the buggy. i think Beau would prob try to skate but we gave our small (sz 10) skates to friends.

we watched Batman movies the rest of the day. the boys love it. Beau hollers "BATMAN!!!!" every time batman comes on LOL. and "oooooooh" at batman’s car.

class tonight. visiting new babies sometime this week. scrapbooking all day saturday!!

I lurve my treadmill. I use it a lot probably because its in front of the tv so it seems like a waste to sit and watch when I could walk. Lol.

ryn: I don’t have medical insurance… so… because I am a disabled veteran, I have to get seen by the VA hospital… or else pay out of pocket for care in the civilian realm. And VA hospital has specialists… but… there are doctors in NC that specialize in headaches specifically. The VA doesn’t have anything like that.

ryn: No need to apologize… I usually end up having to explain it every time I write an entry like this because you don’t get a lot of 30 something female veterans who are disabled to the point where they don’t work… so therefore don’t have insurance and so therefore have to go to the Department of Veterans Affairs clinics and hospitals for all their medical care…top that… with the vast majority of people not really knowing just how piss poor the care that the United States Veterans get through the system they are stuck with (unless they can afford private insurance). And it is a fairly common occurrence for me to be explaining my situation in greater detail than I went into in my entry. For example: Back when I was hospitalized for psych reasons….I declined to go to the VA (and now have an 1100 dollar bill–because I had medicare pay for part of it)… and was hospitalized in a ‘real’ hospital. I do have Medicare Part A (which covers inpatient care only)
