*bahahaha we think we have a new name but MY top choice has pretty much been vetoed for its meaning: "place of pleasure" bahahahahaha oops. guess i shouldn’t have looked it up…dennis has some real issues with a girl’s name having that meaning…

what are your fave girl names? our friends stole (by accident-we never tell our names) ours 🙁 5 years i’ve held onto this name…

Aww, that sucks. :/ I don’t think I’d tell a friend/family member potential names for that very reason. Here’s a few I like, but I’m not sure they’re to everyone’s taste haha Riley, Merna, Carmen and Thelia.

May 3, 2011

I like Marya, Marissa, oh… I can’t even remember I’ll have to get back to you on this one…lol

May 3, 2011

I love Anna, Christina, Delaney, Amelia, Emily, Elizabeth (because of a nickname I like) and of course Kathryn lol

LOL. But you should use the name you’ve liked for 5 years anyway! It’s not as if you can really “steal” a name, and maybe your friends would be honored if they thought that you named your baby after theirs. I would be.

Kassidy,Amelia,Olivia,Catiana,Rileigh,Harleigh,Josie, wait a min are you having a girl?

May 3, 2011

Sophie, Elorah, Grace, Amelia, Jocelyn, and Emma. But if you use any of these and we end up having another girl I hold on to the right to use one of them. Lol.

May 3, 2011

Wish I could help, but I have zero opinion on girls names :/ Trev had Alyssa in mind for years, that’s how she got her name. RYN: I dunno, but if they like long hair so much they should grow it themselves!

I think babies cna sometimes ‘look’ like a name when you see them. My favourite girlie names are Ilya (Jon made it up, stands for I Love You Always) then Ealish (pronounced Ale-ish good Celtic name) Lily, Sophia. You have to think when they are 20, 40, 60, 80 will there name still be really nice. Amiee, Charlotte, Katie erm… theres so many! :o) I’m defo calling my first daughter Ilya :o)

May 3, 2011

i have that same problem with boys names…. so lost on what to call this baby. Nothing stands out.

May 3, 2011

RYN, well thats one way of thinknig about it as well. My ‘real’ name is Lissa meant to be pronounced Liss-a. 50% of people call me Liss-a and 50% Lisa. Which annoys me but Im tired of trying to correct people (22yrs later!). Thats one consideration I will use that when naming may kids that everyone will get their name right and if abverated it wont be daft. :o)

Eden? X

May 3, 2011

I was going to use Eden for either a boy or a girl, but Wayne hates it either way. I’m bad with girl names too. Wait are you having a girl!?

May 3, 2011

I like Sophie, Sophia, Jillian (although you’d have the JJ thing goin’ on), I’ve always like Kelly, although it’s probably too plain for your liking 😉 Trying to think of girls’ names in Tristan’s class that I like: there’s a Claudia – kinda nice; there’s a Scarlett. I like that one. I like Jessica, too (again with the JJ). I think you should just keep the name you’ve wanted for 5 years though!!

May 3, 2011

I think you should just use the name you have loved for 5 years!

May 3, 2011

Oh no that is sad :o( Are you able to tell us the name? x

May 3, 2011

Name the baby what you want!

May 3, 2011

Name the baby what you want!

May 3, 2011

RYN: I don’t even know what it is exactly, but it looks like a big block of hotdog without the casing lol

May 3, 2011

kelly 😉 i like all the old fashioned names… that’s how i name my dogs hehe. stella, esther, etc. what name was your top choice, i need to know this hahah

May 3, 2011

My favorite girl name has always been Ana Rose. I also like Amber, Sierra, and Kimberly.

May 4, 2011

RYN: Its some sort of weird duck. IDK what kind. I told Ryan it looks like a turkey and a duck had a baby but I read that its supposed to be impossible for that to happen. I’d like to ask the person who wrote that to come here and give me his opinion on what that is.

May 4, 2011

Some of my favs: Claire, Natalie, Jade, Maura, Celia, and Delia (my middle name and a name that runs in our family). Whenever we have another child and if its a girl, I would love to incorporate it into a name. Maybe Claire Delia. Good luck deciding!

Brittany Anne Jane Mackenzie Melanie April

May 5, 2011

Adelle, Ruby, Evelynn, Grace. Oldies – but goodies 😉

May 5, 2011

Did I miss an entry? Are you for sure having a girl? Which name means place of pleasure?

May 5, 2011

Oh and scarlett, looking at the above note. Love that name.

May 6, 2011

Ryn: I wish I were, too. :

May 7, 2011

Seer-shuh or Seer-sha They both sound the same, I just didn’t want to say “Seer-sha” and then you read it as “Seer-shay” with a long A. lol It’s that “uh” sound at the end.

May 8, 2011

RYN constantly. Everyone kept asking if brennan and conner were months old. and its like no…. a few days, weeks ect. It kinda sucked. Then they grew SUPER fast too!

May 8, 2011

RYN i know. I just guess. I estimate 1-2 sizes growth a year lol. Then pack everything away in crates to pass down to the next kid lol.

May 8, 2011

does this mean you’re having a girl?! Or did I miss that entry?

May 8, 2011

RYN: Thanks for the note!! Mine just developed this past year, and it’s on my right heel. Holy CRAPDOESITHURT – and I can’t stand on it, some days! I am thinking surgery – just to get RID OF IT.!!!

May 8, 2011

RYN: My doc said that we could try some therapy first, then maybe C shots, then surgery if needed. Thing is, my ins. won’t cover therapy, and I need to find someone to teach me to do it myself. I want to try, but I am NOT ruling out surgery. To have it DONE WITH would be great!!

May 19, 2011

Sophie/Sophia are way too common these days! I would go with Willow. . .
