we are trying to eat better now that the holidays are over. we’ve both gained weight and it’s…ugh. i want to get back to taking the other kickboxing class on mondays but it’s kind of a pain for dennis when i do take it, so we’ll see. the other girls might not get too upset if he watches so i might talk him into it. my partner in thursday classes is only going to be there for a couple more weeks. 
she’s pregnant 
and her doctor says to stop taking kickboxing after 14 weeks. he said it’s too much of an impact. i wonder if he advised that b/c of her miscarriage or if all women should stop taking kickboxing after 14 weeks? there would be a lot of impact from knees and i can see hitting and kicking causing some jostling but if you take out all knees or abdominal exercises, i would think it would be fine.
anyway, i’m probably starting another writing job soon. one of the consistent ones. that’ll give me 2, so that’ll be perfect. during naptime today, i’m going to call about nursery school for sawyer. it’ll just be on tuesdays, though thursdays are available. i wish it were in the afternoon. i work better in the afternoon but either way, i need the time to myself to get work done or even to just do whatever. and he needs social interaction. he loves playing with other kids and he doesn’t get that nearly enough.
i have a cold but the only real symptoms are coughing. a lot of hacking and coughing when i go to bed. ugh. i haven’t slept well in days.
sawyer had a good birthday. he still hasn’t figured out how to pedal his bike but he’ll get it. he spent a morning teaching himself how to get on and off of it so i have no doubt he’ll eventually figure out the pedalling thing too. he got a leappad from his grandparents and the cutest shoes from my parents:
we got them in 7.5 so they’ll fit in spring/summer. he’s in a 7 now. right now, he actually can wear them without them falling off and he can run around in them, so they should be perfect for spring! i’m so glad they make fun shoes for little boys. i always see girl clothes i love so it’s nice to have something for sawyer that i love.
he also got a new book that he loves (mom and i let him look at it in the store one day), some Batman cars, a big truck, money, and some clothes. what a lucky little butthead he is!
no luck with house finding. argh. we might never move. it’s so expensive in that town.
mom and i did some shopping yesterday. they had good sales at giant tiger. i got a cute shirt for myself and one for dennis too. sawyer got a dora movie. he also got a spiderman shirt, 2 little trucks, and a couple books, but those were second-hand. i didn’t find anything second-hand for myself. *humph* i love my new shirt though; i’m so glad shirts are longer now. i was tired of the tiny little tops that were popular for so long.
speaking of naptime, time to get that started.

Nursery school! Exciting! We’re going to be looking around at the age of 3. I don’t know how it works there, but for here children have to be potty trained for it to be considered “preschool” and not just “daycare.” When we move back to Ohio in August we’ll start scooping! You both will enjoy the time.

RYN: For us it’s a no no because it’s half juice, half water. He shouldn’t have juice in the middle of the night – at least that’s my opinion. If it were 100% water that’d be fine but it isn’t. That’s not good on his teeth or little body. : I am not so much bothered by the cup’s presence as I as of it’s contents.

You and I have the same symptoms, poor babies that we are. And I’d be terribly interested in seeing something you’ve written one of these days. I mean other than on this site. You have these writing jobs, and I have no idea what kind of writing you do for them. And I’m sitting here feeling like a slob for eating Skittles. I know I need to eat better, and that’s really been my goal for… notfor the new year, but just for always. And then I found this bag of Skittles I got at the movie theater. So I justify it by saying, “It’s a waste of money if I don’t finish the bag.” : Sawyer. What is there to say about that baby boy? He’s so adorable, and in my opinion should always be spoiled to death with presents and love.

I taught Grace how to ride her bike this summer. Both Kim and Dean were at wits end, and grace was frustrated beyond belief, because her “big-girl” bike has the back pedal brakes. (you know. you pedal backwards and it stops?) well she’s used to her trike where she can pedal backwards (And go backwards, but still). So it was really frustrating for her because she’d go 1/2 a foot and stop and get really mad (she has no patience) and kim and dean were trying to explain it and it was just getting bad. LOL…. So yeah. I worked with her. She figured it out. I was proud. I felt like I’d crossed a boundary but kim and dean both assured me they were pleased with my teahing abilities and glad that she figured it out so nobody killed anyone. lol…

I agree. I love long tops. Short tops were only good for the small percentage of really really skinny chicks and that wasn’t cool. I love the shoes that Sawyer got. They’re cute. I have 2 pairs with the similiar style. Get well soon with that cough and yay for a writing job!

Did you save it where ppl who note you could have noted you on that entry and than decide you didn’t want ppl to see that entry or didn’t want that entry on your diary anymore and that is why I can’t see what that entry had to say. How come Sawyer will only go to nursery school one weekday and how will he get to the school if you don’t drive? What will you be writting about for the job you are talking about in this entry? When was Sawyers birthday? That is nice he got a bike for his birthday. You should take a pic of him on the bike. Does he have a helmet he can wear and where does he ride the bike or will ride the bike? How did you get Sawyer a bike without him knowing about it? Was it hard to find a place to hide the bike so Sawyer wouldn’t find it? Nice shoes Sawyer gets to wear one day. Does the inside of the shoe say Airwalk?
