ears ears ears

[]

at the doctor’s yesterday, we were told sawyer still has some redness so he’s being referred to a specialist for his ears. he weighs 22 lbs 10 ozs and is about 29 inches long (i forgot to write down the exact measurement.) he had his one year shots and was quite angry about the pricks in his legs, but he got over it quickly.

once through at the doctor, we went to a thrift store and picked up a couple things. after that, we went to pizza hut where i bought lunch for my chauffeur. we got the lunch buffet, which is really good–it includes salad, breadsticks, pizza, pasta, and dessert pizza. wal-mart was next on the list. i got a new pair of jeans. they just fell into my lap. we were looking around and a pair of jeans in my size were sitting on the wrong shelf. we could not find those particular jeans for that particular price anywhere else (i would’ve liked the length to be shorter), so i decided jean fairies put them there just for me and bought them (i wasn’t supposed to be buying clothes with dennis’s bank card.) for $13, you can’t lose. i picked up a few more things (including the new vogue–yay for angelina!) we needed and some we didn’t. i got sawyer a new laundry basket because he was too fascinated with removing the lid on his old one (which now has bedtime books in it) and throwing laundry every where. also, it’ll be easier for me to use–the other was more of a hamper and this is a basket. we got everything we needed and took a tired baby home (he slept most of the time in wal-mart but was still a bit tired from a big day.)

we just finished the meatloaf and potatoes i made for supper. i should’ve made another veggie but didn’t think of it on time. we were all hungry and i didn’t want to hold off on supper anymore. the meatloaf was quite good. *thumbs up to me*

besides that, we rearranged the living room so that it doesn’t seem so…crowded. this morning, after i did the dishes, i took all the decorations off the tree and dennis un-decorated the light in the hall. the inside of the house is decoration free.

we have a couple movies to watch and nothing else interesting to speak of…

Sounds like a pretty okay day aside from poor Sawye’rs ears and getting poked in the leggies!

January 6, 2007

Aww poor Sawyer. I hope he gets better soon When the jean fairies bless you with the perfect pair of jeans you HAVE to buy them. That’s the rule lol

January 6, 2007

I am sorry his ears aren’t completely better yet, but at least the jean fairy was working with you and not against you! Our PH buffet is never very good, which is a SHAME.

Poor Mr. Sawyer…hope that the specialist gets it all sorted out. Perhaps they’ll put tubes in. I’m something of an expert on that, I had 7 sets of them myself. but then my doctor was a bit of a sadist. MMMmmmI’m really hungry, and this talk of meatloaf and potatoes has me nearly drooling, thanks! LOL kristen

Congrats on finding great jeans. 🙂 *HUG* That’s much harder for women than for guys. Damn the fashion industry. I hope that the new year brings you more happy moments and adventures. 😉

wow, those jeans were a steal just like my dress! luck you, i wish i could find some jeans at that price that actually FIT me. none really do because i’m pretty much butt-less. carrots would have gone nicely with the meatloaf and potatoes. though we usually have potatoes and carrots with a roast, and mashed potatoes and green beans with meatloaf. sounds delicious!
