cute little prepster * 9 months (nearly) stats

What a funny little man you are, Beau. Though you’re still a terrible sleeper and you are a monster when you’re teething (now), at least the worst is over (5 months of crying makes teething seem like a walk in the park) and you smile quite a lot now. And the things you do! Though you’re not much of a talker (your bro was by 8 months), you know I’m "Mom" and you say "Hi" (started at 6 and 1/4 months) now and then. You babble "Dada" but I’m not sure you’re connecting it to Daddy.

Already, you do so much and some of it very early:

you played the "stick out your tongue" game by a month old and started smiling as well. Tentative laughing by 1.5 months. Cooing and "talking" happened by 2 months.

you started rolling onto either side by 3 months and were rolling back to belly and back again by the time you were 4 months old. you could sit alone by 4 and 3/4 but didn’t commit to it.

you starting army crawling by 6 months and you can do all fours now but prefer the army crawl still

you were pulling up to stand on your own by 7 months and you could sit well on your own but would rather be on the move. you cruised with the furniture by 8 months and have been at it ever since. you even tried to climb the stairs and you walk holding our hands too (when you’re in the mood)!

now, you’re well over 20 pounds and well over 30 inches in length but we haven’t measured in some time. you wear mostly 12-18 month clothing and tower over other babies. you’re into everything (yesterday in a matter of minutes, you changed the settings on my computer so the type was all too small and ripped the wire out of the wall speaker) and interested in everything as well.

when we were at the restaurant visiting nana today, you started playing peekaboo using a blanket. too cute!! you thought it was pretty hilarious.
