blah

well, my doc just wanted to see me to go over the results. the only thing going on is that my cholesterol is almost a little high. when the nurse practitioner got wind of that, she called me up wanting me to do another bout of blood work but after 12 hours of fasting. she’s so pushy. people talk about doctors being pushy but she is SO frickin pushy. my doc isn’t pushy at all and he didn’t seem worried about it at all. he’s been doing this job longer than i’ve been alive and longer than the nurse practitioner has. but apparently she didn’t think he knew what he was talking about. she even scoffed when she saw who my doc was. i get being proactive and all that but fuck. don’t be an a-hole about it.

did a little shopping for beau’s bday. he was an ANGEL all day but he’s not right now. he’s a whiny mess at the moment. he looks cute though b/c he’s in his buzz costume. LOL.

have i mentioned that i got a new phone (purple) and i text now? i love texting. i knew i would b/c i love IMing. we have an unlimited plan so i’m having fun with it, esp. texting dennis. i solved my issues with the trainer by texting. we had a little texting love fest LOL.

so less stuff to worry about. good 🙂 except that stupid cavity i have to get filled and that stupid colonoscopy i have to do in january. blah.

way to end it on a good note, eh?

I guess its good that nothing’s wrong. Although when I had my testing done I was wishing they would find SOMETHING to explain why I feel so tired. So I’m sure it can be a kind of bittersweet thing.

There are certain doctors that I always scoff at. Howevers, I don’t do it in front of patients. She might knows things about your doctor that you don’t know. But she also might be one of those nurses that likes to be ahead of doctors…

Well if slightly elevated cholesterol is your only concern, that’s a lot better than it could be. A little oatmeal and voila! (haha – ask me how many years I’ve been practicing)

Ryn: She does have a bit of a cold, but not enough that I’d think it would bother her- but maybe I am wrong! lol She started off with a tiny bit of a runny nose and now she’s got a barking cough (that only happens early in the morning or before bed) poor baby!

RYN: I’ve never put anyone on limited before, but I suppose I could figure it out. We’ll see how goes, it’s not like I post anything top secret, I just don’t want anything getting twisted. I know, right. You’d think being able to paint a cardinal would be a requiremant for face-painters at a cardinals game.

Weight loss… um cardio/dance like 3-4 times a week and trying to stop eating so many sweets (though I have been eating fig newtons for the past few days! oops!). Lots of produce! I love fruit and veggies so that is pretty easy!

I love the texting with blackberrys because you get blackberry messanger which is exactly the same as IM and it’s free no matter what because its from blackberry to blackberry.

ryn: I saw a few episodes here and there but not from start to finish like I’m doing now 🙂 I’m on season three, I’m so hooked! yeah I have a feeling I’ll have to go to a bathing suit store but it’s going to be pricey! the lady at walmart suggested Sears so maybe I’ll try there too.
