almost there…

so yesterday i managed to clean a bit before class, after my mom took the boys home with her. i got sawyer’s room (though i need to get the vacuum fixed and do it properly but i did what i could), beau’s room, the bathroom, and the upstairs hall. i actually did the bathroom while beau was napping and mom was putting sawyer down for a nap.

today, sawyer helped me do the living room this morning (but we’ll have to sweep again before the party) and now that sawyer is in bed, i put beau in the play pen and did the dining room, laundry room, stairs, and downstairs hallway. still the kitchen to be done. i’m not sure what to do about it b/c the couch fromthe playroom is still in there. dennis is SO close to having the playroom done but the floors are tricky. 🙁 he was really really hoping to have it done for tomorrow. we still have decorating to do at some point as well. i just don’t know if we can get it all together on time. good thing we have a wedding tonight and the boys will be gone to dennis’s moms’. though actually going to the wedding cuts into our cleaning/setting up time. and we have to get some lovin’ in since beau has clung to me like glue the last week or so. i’m so tired of it.

having a big house is rough going when it comes to cleaning. i didn’t even get our room done before we had to go.

and i hate cleaning rooms that are so ugly. you can’t even tell they’re clean. only the rooms dennis has renovated look decent when clean. argh. so not any gratification in it.

beau’s room was awfully cobwebby since nobody uses it. argh. i really need to figure out how to get him into his own room. lately, i’ve been putting him in there in the mornings while i sleep some more. if sawyer plays in there, i get quite a bit of extra time in.

i hope i can find something to wear under my dress. i maybe shouldn’t have worn my new yoga pants to kickboxing last night. hmmmm…maybe i should do some laundry just in case they’re all i have.

well, i’m off to do more work…
