yesterday, my yoga teacher friend (C) and i went to my SIL’s house for a cardmaking/stampin up party. we even had a good time on the drive there, because we got to talk without interruption. we have always either had our little ones with us or we were in a yoga class. the party was good. we made some nice cards for fall; i have no idea what i’m going to do with mine. i’ll have to hope someone has a birthday or something this fall. i bought a few things and C won a door prize. then we went home, again with good conversation on the way.

today, sawyer and i are going to check the mail to see if my stamps have come yet. ridiculous. i ordered my computer AFTER i won and paid for my stamps on ebay. it had to be built, come over the border, go to Toronto, and come back our way to dennis’s work and it still got here first. and the shipping was free. for an entire frickin computer. the ebay seller has an excellent rating and an ebay store so i don’t doubt they’ll come but sheesh, i’m writing that the shipping was slow and overpriced when i rate her.

i have yoga later on tonight. 🙂 tomorrow, my sister might be coming over to visit. now that her kids are back in school, it’ll be easier to hang out. wednesday is play date day (don’t have many of those left since they’re moving), thursday kickboxing, and friday book club.

yay for busy weeks!

dennis fights on sunday. at our club against another club. i’ll be going along. i’ll probably take sawyer with me; he was fine last time. he even fell asleep right when dennis’s fight started. lol. he missed the whole thing.

nothing much else is going on. my new computer rocks. we downloaded and burned "the shooter" already. i downloaded 2 albums i wanted but they wouldn’t burn onto a CD. damn them. sawyer watched cars too. dennis has been playing with the computer all weekend. this is really my first chance at it; i was on it a bit friday night and for a few minutes saturday. apparently, he’s an internet junkie too but he needs a fast computer to stay interested.

he learned about the word "work" on saturday b/c dennis had to work that morning. this morning he was calling for me "mommy?" "mommy?" "daddy?" and when i opened his door he said "daddy go to work" lol. yup. that’s where daddy is. so cute. he woke up too early though and is whiny. if he gets up before 7:30/8 a.m., he’s a grump. so am i but i know enough to sleep in!

let me just say I LOVE THE FALLL and my bday is sunday *cough* i’ve already had the pumpkin spice frappuccino from starbucks, and the pumpkin milkshake from mcdonalds this weekend. bring on the FALL! look at how cute sawyer ALWAYS IS! 😀

RYN: Yes, she still goes to the door and yells for Ruby. It’s sad 🙁 I just remind her that Ruby went bye bye and she moves on to something else. Lin’s tattoo is the scared heart, it’s some religious thing I guess. I dunno.

I know a cat can know when something is wrong with a person, but I didn’t know a dog could do that as well. You are right that when it is hot outside a person would rather drink more than eat. What did you buy from the cardmaking/stampin up party you went to and what did C win as a door prize? Where did you go to download the 2 albums? I like the card with the leaves and pumpkins. Did you make that card yourself or bought it from a store?

It’s ok that you would think that most people would find dogs to be sympathetic and cats to be uncaring. I grew up with cats and I know from the cats I lived with they knew when I was sad and would rub their body against me and pure to try to make me feel better. I hadn’t thought that sometimes age can affect how much a dog eats. What you said about their teeth can’t chew as well or they can’teat as much as they get old is something to think about. i bought a stamp cleaning scrub, a journaling pen, and an ink pad. C won some cards made by the Stampin’ Up consultant. i downloaded them on a site where you get things like that. it says at the beginning of the entry that i made the card…and i think it says this is the card i made right before the picture
