Me & Mommy & Sis Makes Three
I have been visiting my mother and my sister in southern California. It has been a busy week with many insights and delights and hard facts and reality. Will post more when my mind is relaxed. But some highlights:
- Playing Skip-Bo for hours with Mom, talking and laughing
- Dinners out with sister and family
- Time with my high school buds
- Attending the Long Beach International Quilt Show and meeting with a quilting friend
- Baby shower for my niece
- More card playing with Mom
- Setting up Mom’s car for donation to the Inland Valley Humane Society–it was time for her to stop driving
- Listening to Mom complain about her aches and pains and reassuring herself that giving up the car was the right decision
- Realizing once again how screwed up is my family and glad I am screwed up in other ways 🙂
peace~~
Family: Can’t live without ’em. Can’t kill ’em. 🙂

All in all it sounds like a good visit. I don’t know any families that aren’t held together with a few screws and nuts, including me and mine. 😉 Quilting Show – was that a coincidence? That had to be a treat for you. What a nice idea to donate the car to her local Humane Society. xoxo

Your bullet #7 – I’ve got to do that with my mom soon…

But you’re the nicest kind of screwed up. 😀
