Ever Notice?

Do you ever notice how some weeks fly by so quickly that you just can’t think where they went?  How you wake up each morning and you realize the week is suddenly over?  Maybe you wonder out loud, "Where did the time go?"  And then at other times the week seems to just drag by, each day taking half a week.  And you wonder what the heck is going on?  You wake up and think it is maybe two days later than it is?

This is a draggy week.  Each day I wake up and think it is the day ahead.  Today should be Friday.  I keep thinking that I should be ironing my gown for graduation–I love graduation–and that we are heading into the weekend.  It’s not even that I am anticipating finals and then summer break.  I have too much to accomplish between now and summer break.  It’s just a feeling that this is the longest week in the history of humanity.

And then I got to thinking….maybe I am not the only one who feels like this for the week.  And if so, maybe time HAS been standing still for a bit each day.  Maybe someone is messing with something that causes the whole world to stop….pause….pause….and then start up again.

Anyone else get this feeling?  Hmmmmmmmmm?
