-I keep getting a weird error every time I try to visit the main site page. I can only get here by Google searching for it and going to the login page. I might have updated days ago otherwise. The site works fine from my phone but not my PC.
-Still keep getting positives on the pee sticks. Still in a state of disbelief because I’m pretty much symptomless this time, too. Freaks me out a bit. I get some occasional nausea that I probably wouldn’t even taken notice of otherwise.
-Talked one of the nurses at my Midwife office into scheduling an early ultrasound for me. We’re going to do it at 8 weeks instead of 12. Three weeks to go…
-I’ve told a few people but not made any public announcements.
-Work is exhausting lately. School on top of work is sometimes more than I can stomach to think about. There are huge projects due in both classes in about 3 weeks. I haven’t started on either aside from a thesis statement for one and a rough outline of an idea in my head on the other.
-Life is more or less good despite my bitching about it. Zac has been amazing. I’ve really needed him to be lately. It makes me feel better about the future to be so lighthearted together and to get so much help around the house.
-Miss my family a lot right now.
-First Thanksgiving that my family isn’t getting together at my dad’s parents. I hadn’t been to one of their Thanksgiving’s since we moved out here but it still makes me sad to know that tradition is lost. Now they’ll all be scattered with their own little families.
-Been reading a lot about Buddhism for one of my classes. I find myself fascinated by it. I used to think it was ridiculous when I read some star or another had converted to Buddhism but now I get it. I could convert. Hell, I could convert and still technically be an atheist. I don’t think I fully understood the principles behind it until now. It’s worth researching if you don’t. I was surprised at how much of it resembled the advice I got from my therapist…..and Buddhism is free!
-So looking forward to a long weekend.
I loved the simplicity of buddhism. There is no diety, unless you chose to pray towards buddha etc. Otherwise it’s just a philosophy, way of life, state of mind that is so simple and so spot on. I’m glad you are getting that early ultrasound, that makes ME feel a little better and I’m not even YOU. Hoping for the best for you!

An early ultrasound will make you feel even better still. Hooray! Buddhism is fascinating, for sure.

Buddhism has a lot of rigamarole and ritual around it too, just like any religion. The ceremonies and temples are pretty though.

My pregnancies all presented the symptoms a little differently. It’s an OK thing. 🙂 Amen to what Avalon said! BTW, I’m toying with the idea of hosting a dinner party in December. Nothing in stone yet, but would ya’ll be interested in coming?
