Ready for another vacation

I’ve only been home since late Saturday night and I’m ready to get out of Dodge again.  First of left the sun and surf for snow!!!!!!  Yuck plus more yuck.  Got  home to find the kitchen faucet broken, the toilet leaking, since I bought this house and the floor now rotting, and wake up from my first night back to work to the furnace not running.

Okay the eazy part was the furnace after I called and ordered fuel and then found the tank still full.  All I had to really do was push the reset button.  BLessing number one.  Then the faucet I was planning to change anyhow, so fortuneatly I can do some plumbing so with lots of wd 40 and my own tools, finlly got the the last nut broken loose just a few minutes ago.  So New faucet will either be finished tonite or Tomorrow.  Bathroom floor will be next and my brother and I can most likely do that ourselves.  Thank you Lord for making me able to do things on my own with help from my friends and family.  This house will always be a work in progress as long and I live here.

Sad parts since home are a young lady whom I have known for many years as a EMT with an neighboring department finally Won her battle with breast cancer, by fighting the best she could until the Lord took away her pain and suffering.  I guess He needed a new member to his Angel department cause she now resides with Him.  Even tho we were not close friends, we have been thru some pretty tough stuff at squad calls and she will be greatly missed.  I have decided not to feel sorry, instead I will allow myself to feel selfish for wanting her to stay here another minute.  Rest in peace Tammy, I know your new wings fit perfectly.

I had an appointment with my neuro-opthomalogist on Wednesday and he said my sight in my right eye continures to diminish.  He said that in the last 6 months the test shows continued deterioration.  He now wants another MRI of my brain.  I told him the last one was a real relief because it showed something between my ears.  He just looked at me like I was nuts.  Oh well, I had to make something up or I may not go back.

Anyhow, that’s my week in a nut shell.  I have used the word nut. more in this short entry more times than I have in my entire time here.  What does that say for me?  Don’t tell me what you really think,  I already know I’m nuts, But that’s just who I am.  Take care all and God bless.  I know how blessed I am every day, Thank you Lord.
