NIghtmare week ahead

Working Sunday night with two more second shift nights to go.  Not looking forward to tomorrow because I am now beginning the unpleasant part of this law suit.  I am being examined by the defense attorneys doctors.  Tomorrow is the eye doctor.  My attorney told me to take someone along with me but the people that I know will all be working and a couple more are out of town or in training.  So I guess I will go it alone.  I most likely will have my eyes dilated.  Sfter I get out from the doctor I have to fill out a questionaire from my attorney.  I know that I can do this, but it makes me nervous.  On thursday I see the orthopedic doctor.  Then the only one left will be their shrink.  On top of the doctor appointments this week, I see my social worker and have 2 twelve hour shifts

I am also getting ready to leave for vacation on Sunday.  I work midnites Saturday night and I think Jules my house sitter will probably take me to the airport.  I booked a layover flight to save money so I fly to Baltimore first and then to Orlando.  I hope the weather is warm and sunny and I spend most of my time outdoors.

I made it thru Veterans Day by trying to stay busy and not really doing anything either.  I did decided to stop at the florist and pick up a half dozen red, white and blue carnations.  I stopped by the cemetary, had a good cry and moved on.  I just try and remember that Dad is better off now and is happy to be pain free and with loved one who went ahead of him.  I miss him still and hope that he is proud of me.

Other than the ususal day to day things that go on in my days I am looking forward to just getting away.  My brother called to invite my mom for Thanksgiving so I know that she won’t be alone.  I am glad that she will spend time with her son.  She doesn’t ever take the time to call him or stop by.  So maybe with my being gone they will both take some initiative.

Sweet dreams folks. I’ll see you soon.  Say a prayer for me if you get a chance.  And keep a special friend in mind as she continues to battle breast cancer.  Things have not gone well for her and she can use all the prayers she can get.  I know she and her family will appreciate them.  Her name is Tammy and she has been a community volunteer emt for a long time and asking for prayers is a way to say thanks to her for all she has done.  So Lord, I know you are listening, put her ahead  of anything happening in my life, she needs Your healing touch.
