Mama update
I know that this is a little late in coming, but the surgery went very well. Dr. was finished with removal of tumor and two lymph nodes in what I recall as record time. He said he took the tow nodes as a precautionary move and didn’t really think they were involved. Now we are waiting to see what post op treatment will be. Mom is quite surprised that she is not quite back up to her usual energy. I keep trying to tell her that she underwent a major surgery and that she will take a little longer to heal. She has never had anything major, so this is a disappointment to her. I keep telling her to just do what you feel like doing. Doc super glued her back together, so no stitches or staples to remove or attend to.
Thankful that all has come out so well. Found unknowing peace of mind when I just gave it up. I know I keep repeating myself, but my faith gives me comfort and hope.
I finally came back to work today and I haven’t missed this place one little bit. In a town of 12 thousand, I had 4 squad runs within an hour and had to call outside help to take care of all these. And then had a female come into the police station to say an elderly male was following her and telling her he wanted some “good loving.” I almost choked when she told me that. Then he sat in the parking lot of the police station and looked up and down the road to try and find her. Really dude, go back to your hometown to find some lovin, don’t bring your crap to my town. Just my take and I know there was prolly more to the story than came out, but that is the best I can say.
Hoping the rest of the night stays Quiet, but who knows. With the beautiful moon that we had last night, tonight may be crazy. I just hope to get to sit here and watch the race until time to go home. God bless one and all.
One last little note, miraculously Luther’s tail has returned to activity. Must have been a jam, as it now goes round and round again. All it needs now is a propeller and he could probably fly!
Now I can’t get the song “Good Lovin” out of my mind! LOL! Glad all went well. If doc is optimistic, you should be, too. Yes, I find peace in prayer, too. RYN: It is a sad disease, but BIL’s spirits are good. SIL has been losing weight, in typical caregiver mode.

It wasn’t funny for the female, but it did make me laugh that he was following her asking for some “good lovin”. He should try the bar maybe. 🙂 Glad your mom’s procedure is over. God Bless

RYN: Drop cloths aren’t terribly expensive, but I felt Papa Blue should have charged something for the loss. He didn’t, though. Just shrugged and said he’d make it up somewhere else.

Maybe I will do that one day. Ride my bike up to Seven Mile and look for “some lovin”. HA HA Sounds like a happening place.
