Another year older….
Yep, as of this past Friday, I am another year older. And when I stop to think about the number, I sure don’t feel mentally like I’m 48. I guess that is a good thing. THe sad thing about it was I had to work and couldn’t really do any celebrating. Our new schedule has started and I am on second shift for the rest of the week.
My poor puppies don’t understand why they have to eat at different times and I am not at home like usual. But so far they are adjusting. And when I get home at night, since our weather has been warm, we go outside and play.
On the good front, I have finished with my physical therapy on my knee. I now have to wait for the doctor to get the results and call me for a consult. When I saw him back in the fall, he told me that first we would try therapy, if that didn’t work then he talked about some type of injections. Well the more that I think about it, I don’t want a temporary fix of injections. The doctor said he was not sure what the problem was, and if the injections didn’t work then we would have exploratory surgery. Well I am going to try and opt for the surgery and a permanent fix for the problem. Only time will tell when my next appointment will be. In the mean time, I will continue to do my exercises from the therapy and keep working out in the water and taking the aquatics class.
That’s about all the excitement happening in my life. I have made my plane reservations to take a two week trip to Florida again in May. I am really looking forward to beach time and just seeing what else I can find for relaxation in the Orlando area. I don’t think I really want to go to any of the big amusement parks, because they are so high priced. Maybe a trip to Blue Springs state park, and check out to see if there are any manatees still in the springs. In January when I was there, the springs had 133 manatees in just one day. They are huge and they appear so docile. I want to get into the springs and swim with them
Well that will do it for now, it’s about time to go home and see the puppies and play. Good night and God Bless!
Happy Belated Birthday!!

Happy birthday!!! My g/f was on an inner tube, floating on the Gulf when a manatee surfaced right next to her, its face just inches from hers. She said she was scared to death! LOL! Slip over to Cocoa Beach and stay at the Best Western, ask for 6th floor, end unit. Great view, good spot for people watching. RYN: My great grandmother looks shy to me in that picture, not mean. I did not knowher, but family history says that evewryone in the family loved her deeply. I don’t know if the tomatoes are quite ready yet or not, but it was good to pick our first one. 🙂

RYN: I really don’t know how to detect virtue in any animal. I think your method of wait and see if she shows is probably the best. We don’t seem to have the morning after shot anymore. Hey!! Thanks for dropping by and the nice note.
