We’re home!

Well, Noah and I made it home alright, though I had to stop and buy some tape to hold my window up. Same thing’s broken on this side as the last one, but Pete wasn’t able to buy the part because it’s got to be bought from the dealership. And tearing it all apart caused the window to like to fall down further all on its own than it was before. Good thing I had Noah bundled up real good or the poor boy would have been miserable back there. We didn’t realize till I got on the road that the window was gonna fall down so far.

Anyway. I do have pictures I want to share, but I haven’t uploaded them yet.

It wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be, and Mom spoiled the heck out of Noah, but she did get me rather pissed off a few times.

First major piss off: He had the hiccups. She was holding him. She was eating a Hershey’s Kiss. Then she stuck her finger in her mouth and brought out some of the melted chocolate. And she actually thought she was going to give it to Noah. Uh, NO. He is ONE MONTH OLD. HE DOES NOT NEED CHOCOLATE. "Well, can I at least put some sugar on his pacifier?" NO, YOU CANNOT. The hiccups bother us more than they bother him. He can’t digest that shit yet. What. The. Fuck.

Second one: She was changing his diaper. Asked me if I was pulling "this" back. Um, what, exactly. Oh, his foreskin. Well, no, I haven’t, because YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO YET. IT COULD CAUSE DAMAGE.

Third one: Telling me that I need to be putting on t-shirts underneath his onesies and sleepers and stuff. Not so much. He stays in the house most of the time, and I keep it nice and warm in here. Besides, don’t they say that babies generally don’t need any more layers than you yourself would wear? Yeah. It’s not yet to the point where I’m layering clothes. And if I WERE to layer him, I’d rather put on a onesie and then a normal t-shirt.

Anyway. I just had to take a break to feed little man, and now I’m just not in the mood to write any more. Sorry.
