Mean Old Dog!

The weather out here was gorgeous today, so we took Noah outside to play in the field across the street from us. He was more interested in just walking around LOL. Anyway, there were some little girls out there with their puppy. All was well and good until the puppy saw us and wanted to come over and investigate. The girls put him on his leash and they came over. Noah wasn’t interested and kept walking around. We were talking to the girls and the next thing I know, the puppy busted completely out of his collar……and made a beeline straight for Noah. Jumped right on his back and knocked him flat on his face before any of us could get to him.

My boy is such a trooper, though! He cried for all of a minute and he was fine. His face got a little scratched (by the grass, not the dog!), and he’s got a few scratches on his back, but overall, he’s fine. The little girls were SO apologetic, it was really sweet.

We’re postponing Noah’s haircut to sometime during the week. The place we’re taking him to is only open until 2:30 on Saturdays, and of course, Jake is still sleeping then and he wants to be there. They’re open until six during the week, which works out much better for him. I can’t wait to see him with a big boy haircut!

We *may* have decided on a name for baby girl. It’s one we both like and had tossed around weeks ago, but we were hesitant to use it for one particular reason. I don’t want to say anything until we decide for sure, though!
