Looks like tomorrow…

I’LL BE A GRANDMA!!!

Yup. I’m taking Brie in at 7:30am, to be admitted and then induced. Doc said we would have a baby by late aft./early evening.

HOLY SMOKES!!

We thought for sure she’d go yesterday, she began having pains in the morning, mostly back, her tummy would tighten for a few minutes, then again every 15 minutes. But nope. She had dialated to 2 today, doc can feel the head. She’s ready and baby’s ready. He said Brie should have no problems w/ a normal delivery. I worry of course, babe’s really REALLY grown these last couple of weeks-and she’s so little. But we’ll see. I pray she doesn’t take after me and mom. Even after they started pitocin on me to speed things up-after 20 hrs. or so of labor I was ready-it still took another 52 hrs. with Brie and 28 1/2 more w/ Chels then a Emergency C. Mom’s were each 2 days long for all of us kids. Sigh. Brie’s a rebel tho’ so hopefully she makes a new path! 😉

I was a little concerned about the inducing, but the doc reassured me. (Love him) Anyway, that’s the news here. I have to fly right now, hopefully I’ll have time later to come and catch up on everyone! See if Snowwoman has any news of her impending Grandmotherhood!

Oh Wow! And I’m not going to find out how it all went until tomorrow ’cause your early evening will be our late evening. Rats! However I’m sure it will be fine – all the assurance in the world won’t stop you worrying I know but just keep thinking in around 24 hours it’ll probably be all over. (And I bet you I check in before I go to bed!).

Well, it’s 7am in Texas now – I guess things are really exciting around there. Hoping and praying that all goes well and Brie gets this over with in a hurry. Can’t wait to read your next entry! xoxoxxo…..
