windows 98 haiku

The first day of poetry this semester we started with Haiku. My professor read us these, which, considering my recent Windows Blue Screen catastrophes, aptly describe my frustration. And they’re just hilarious.

Professor said he got them from the internet but couldn’t figure out who the original author was.

Windows 98 Haiku.

A file that big?
It might be very useful.
But now it is gone.

Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repend and reboot.
Order shall return.

Windows 98 crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears your screams.

Yeserday it worked.
Today it is not working.
Windows is like that.

First snow, then silence.
This thousand dollar screen dies
So beautifully.

A crash reduces
Your expensive computer
To a simple stone.

Why is it that everything that Microsoft makes ends up having a problem that ends with “of death.” The Blue screen of death, the red ring of death. It’s almost like Microsoft makes crappy products that keep failing. Not that I am bitter as I am on my 3rd xbox 360.

Lol, when I read your title, I thought it was going to be this one little haiku, but I loved all six of them.
