Adventure

Good morning! Yes, it’s still technically morning where I am. I just rolled out of bed, awoken by a couple picture texts from a friend, who I was strangely dreaming about. Weird.

I have to admit, writing yesterday felt gooood. I rambled a bit, but sometimes that’s what we all need, right? Just to sit down and let our thoughts flow. It got me feeling good about writing again. Which should make at least one special lady happy 🙂

Stan and I went to Target and Wal-Mart last night looking for a desk. The stores out here suck. They don’t have half of what the other stores have, and they’re arranged all funny. We didn’t see anything we were in love with at either store, so we’re gonna try some office stores and maybe K-Mart today. We’re also planning on taking a trip to the flea market, though I’m not sure when that’s happening since it’s almost noon now. I’m not sure when the flea market closes. Amy is supposed to be coming over and going with us, and she’s not even on her way over yet. So, we’ll see how this plan goes.

I was a lazy bum yesterday. I did laundry, but that’s about it. The rest of the day was spent watching Pirates of the Caribbean, then just watching TV until Stan got home from work around 7ish. We did manage to get some grocery shopping done last night, too, but that was it for my productivity. Bad Lindsay. I should have unpacked a lot more.

I can hear Stan moving things around in the kitchen downstairs, so I had better go see what the plan for today is. And at least unpack a box (or two).

RYN: *smiles* That’s pretty much what I was going for… do it while I’m still young enough to pull the style off. 😛

RYN: Heh, alcohol doesn’t mix well with my herbal mixtures, nothing more into it! 😉

RYN: Yep, everything doesn’t have to have fanfare about it. Interesting situation considering I’m off to Tasmania today to visit the in-laws and there’s a cocktail party thrown by them tomorrow night. They’re big drinkers so it’ll be ‘fun’ to weasel my way out of partaking (refusing alcohol is a bit of an insult to them…wondering whether I’ll need to sit down with my MIL to discuss things).
