A change is coming! *with survey*
I mean not much of a change, just rearranging some furniture and moving a few of the rooms around in the house. When the kids aren’t here I just sit up in the loft/office playing on the computer or in the living room watching tv. So I decided why not have the best of both worlds? Okay that has nothing to do with the rearranging, but it is a bonus. Jordan has his room in the basement, Brittany on the main floor (the master bedroom is on the main floor too) and Maddison’s room is upstairs next to the loft. When I moved in I thought it would work out perfectly, but Jordan is afraid to sleep in the basement alone because of the furnace noises. So he has been crashing in my room or Brittany’s room. I talked to Brittany and asked if she would want to share a bedroom with Maddison. Brittany is 10 and Maddison is 3, so it would be interesting, but she liked the idea. So I am going to move Jordan to the main floor and Brittany into Maddison’s room. Then I am going to turn my office/loft into a play room where they can watch tv and keep all their toys. it should work out well. Then I am moving my office into the section of my living room I call “the music room” (it’s where the piano is). then move the piano into the dining room since the only thing in there is the table and chairs. Anyway, here are the before pictures. They were taken with the panoramic setting on my camera from the corner of the rooms, so they may seem a bit odd, but use your imagination. Also sorry for the mess, I am a single father of three for God sakes.
The office/loft
The living room and music room (separated by a misplaced fireplace).

That is a weird spot for a fireplace, now that you mention it…

I’d love to pass you that soda.I don’t really make you food much, though. =/And I’m pretty sure she hates me too, so it’s even in a way, I guess, right?I like this survey and will do it soon, too.

Ooh, I love seeing before and after house rearranging pictures. Whenever I visit my mother, I always end up watching HGTV all day.

the fireplace is definately in an odd spot…but it makes it neat. I myself am a frequent movie attendee, what’s the latest one you’ve seen?

I like that you told us who you were saying things to. I LOVE rearranging furniture. Makes me feel like I live in a whole new place.

RYN: Haha! Actually, seeing your pictures is what made me take pictures of my place… the idea of combining it with cleaning only came after. But I have to say, I love rearranging furniture so much more than cleaning! There’s something so nice and satisfying about it! =)

Between you and Lang, I’m getting all inspired to shake things up around here. Now, how to find the time…
Warning Comment
RYN: No, it’s not reversed. My desk is on the wall with my window, under the pictures. My computer is in the corner. I’ll take more pictures when it’s all done and that should clear things up. =)CB,
