Nerves, nerves

I don’t even know why I am nervous. Last night, while Mike Minor and I were working next to each other, I mentioned the movie again.

“So, the buy one ticket, get one free thing… you still think you are going to go? Because I REALLY wanted to see Finding Neverland, but nobody would go with me.”

“Well, yeah, I think so. I work in the morning, are you going to be here?”

::insert quick panic here::

“No, but, here… ::writes down number in ‘cutest’ handwriting ever:: call me when you get out of work tomorrow if you are going.”

And that was that… I left the ball in his court. I mean, you can’t really beat buy one ticket, get one free. God, I hope he calls. I am not saying I could make a move or anything… but it would be nice to see a movie. Ya know, I could upgrade from a third grader to a sixth grader, and rest my arm on the same armrest, so our elbows are touching. ::hits herself in head:: I’m pathetic.

I have the slight feeling that he is going to back out, merely because he is so.. introverted. We are COMPLETE oppisites. I have no idea if we would even work as a couple. For instance: He is into zombie movies, I am into romantic comedies. He likes to sit at home and smoke a doobie, I prefer to go out and have a cocktail. But.. he makes me laugh. Damnit… I hate crushes.

I got a phone call from my friend Laura today… she got ENGAGED yesterday! I was so ecstatic! This guy is so great, I definitely approve. This also means… I get to be a BRIDESMAID!!! I am so excited! This gives me even more motivation to lose weight- so I can be the sexy single bridesmaid at the wedding. I get to see Laura on Thursday, I miss her so much!

Anywho- I am smoking like a fiend, and I think I’ll hope in the shower… though, I don’t wanna shower today unless I KNOW I am going to the movies with Mike Minor. I think I will check showtimes 🙂
