Back to Normal

After working my butt off all weekend, I made rent and then some. Mike returned home on Tuesday. I took the CTA to O’hare, and met him at his baggage claim. I hugged him and we both started laughing. I hadn’t heard his voice in so long that it sounded different. Anywho…

All is well. We have postponed the move for at least a year and half, most likely longer. That way, I can get my Masters completely out of the way (all my loans as well) and then move down there, free rent, start teaching, and start paying everything off. A HUGE weight lifted from my shoulders. I can take my time now, and he wants to ease his way back into school just so it’s not a total shock when he starts hitting the books again. I am so relieved. And, it’s decided… when he moves, I move. Unless, in two years time, something life altering happens… boyfriend, family, who knows? It could happen.

I was so tired from working all weekend, and worrying about all of the moving and stuff, that last night, while trying to hang out with Mike, I passed out on the couch, got myself a much needed night of sleep.

Finals are coming up, so my entries will be few and far apart. But, in two weeks time, I shall be DONE with my bachelors ::does the happy dance:: Take care everyone!
