Ending November

I’m sure I am skipping things but I’m too lazy to go check my last entry as I begin to type this.

* My friends, Rob and Tracie welcomed a little boy (their fourth child) on Saturday November 21st 2009. He was born a healthy 8lbs 8ozs and was 19inches long I believe. He was 3 weeks early but she always has early babies that end up big and healthy. His name is Logan and he is beautiful for being a newborn baby. I feel 90% look alike but he is already starting to look more baby and less newborn.

* I spent that weekend in the city with Amanda. It was her birthday weekend so she drove down to visit. We had a lovely, short visit but it was great. We got a sweet suite for no extra charge at the hotel! We stayed on the 27th story with a full apartment style suite with two balconies instead of a shoe box style room we paid for. This was a free upgrade because I had to hang out in the lobby till she got there for check in. It didn’t bother me to wait and it was a great upgrade. We shopped and wandered the city basically. We also went to a good comedy show with my bosses and two of their friends. It was a good weekend.

*Thanksgiving I was home Wednesday night through Saturday evening. It went way too quickly. My friends are terrible at making plans and keeping them…everything always gets cancelled. I ended up with that problem everyday…so Wednesday night I went to see James (I know, I know). He had hurt his back severely and such so it was a nice visit with a lot of talking. I didn’t sleep there but stayed till like 3am.

*Thursday was a small family deal and it was nice.

*Friday I was up at 3am and in line by 3:30am. I bought myself a netbook. It’s adorable and I love it. I am very happy I got up to wait for it…it was totally worth it. I am now debating keeping my regular laptop or selling it. It’s worth about $700 used (according to my online research). I’d sell it for $400 even.

*Friday night James and I fought on the phone. He thought I was lying about when I received his text messages. I seriously wasn’t lying at all. Anyway, it was stupid and we fought and I hung up not expecting to hear from him for a good few weeks.

*Saturday I Christmas shopped then went out with Anthony. We went to grab a drink then went to Mike’s and saw him for a half-hour or so then back to the bar for another beer. It was cool getting to know Anthony and he was really good about things. Then it was a long train ride and bed for me.

*I have had the oldest home sick Sunday and yesterday. He basically had a migraine I think…light triggers a severe headache at the front of his head and he cries. I just gave him meds and had him nap and he is okay. He had a fever last night but woke up fine so he went to school.

*Mike has been expressing an interest in me then completely ignoring me. I hate it. I finally talked to Anthony about it Sunday night which I think was a severe mistake. He is probably going to say something to Mike but not say the right thing. He is a burn-out I think…I am sure he will mess whatever this is, up! I can only blame myself for saying anything to him. I should have just stayed quiet but it was really bugging me. Ugh, maybe Anthony will forget!

*This week needs to move along. I feel stressed for no reason. I’m sad for no reason. I’m tired for no reason. I don’t like all of this, “for no reason” crap.
