Almost walking!

I went to the orthopedic specialist today. He remove dmy cast, xrayed and examing and was extremely impressed! I have a walking cast and no PT needed!!! I have to use crutches another week or so then can slowly get off them. He will xray again in 6weeks but told me to buy a lottery ticket. He’s never seen someone heal so fast in 5 weeks (6 since surgery). I’m so happy. He said I can return to work when I can walk fully. He gave me off till January 15th for insurance reasons but said he’ll let me go back earlier if I’m ready. He thinks by January 1st I might be ready.

I’m beyond happy.

My semester is almost over. Doing it all online but almost done. I am going to finish one class this week (last paper almost done for that class) then finish another one with the exception of the final by Friday as well. The third one has one more paper that I’ll do next week.

I’m out on Long Island with friends but can’t wait to go back to James for Christmas. Miss him already (spent 2 weeks there).
