queen city opportunities

nk, i hafta start with monday. i had rehearsal from 9-12 then from 12 to whenever we finished, said my schedule. so i went and we did our scenes and i ended up sitting thru most of it bc mrs. pearce is not involved in most of the songs. i only choregraphed one song with megan which took about an eighth of the time the rest did bc we acted how we thought it should go and b. brown (she’s the choreo for my fair lady) thought it was pretty good and just added stuff here and there. she was making most of the stuff up off the top of her head anyways so yea. the set is still skeletal and lines are mostly unknown (specially since we just came back from break) and dean was becoming irritabile. gina, evan, amy and i got released from bondage early and we went to tri-county. we went into buckle so evan could look at clothes and junk and it was pretty fun looking around at clothes i usually don’t buy.. EVER.

evan found a pair of jeans he liked but they were too long and he would’ve had to take them to the florence buckle to have them altered and he decided it was too much of a hassle so he ended up not getting them. i found the absolute cutest bracelet (white course fabric with a pink satin strip going aroun the middle) but i had zero cash on me so i had to leave it there. there was also a blue stripey polo with a penguin logo (instead of a horse) and it had a line across his stomach, a line going up his chest, two lines going across his throat and i think he had two dots up on his throat but i don’t quite remember.. but the effect was that the penguin was in a tux. it was super adorable. i am seriously debating going back and buying that shirt. i may ask my mommie for clothes cash to go and get it on friday.

BUT, i saw a cat in the hat shirt which was black with just the hat on the hat (the hat was done in crushed velvet or sommin) and amy and gina convinced me to try it on. it was alarge, which equated to about a small i think. it fit, but it was super tight and it kept inching up and showing my belly and i was like ‘ummNOumm.. yea..’ but whatev. at least i tried it on.

so then we left and evan had to go and pick up toine who’d had to stay at rehearsal but i had to take the girls home in 30 or 40 minutes anyway so we just said goodbye and moved on. we headed into lazarus for amy and gina to look at dresses. amy found a dark coral-ish pink one with a bustier top and a belt-like sash that buttoned in the back and had a metal charm in the front with a pink jewel on it. she put it on hold and we headed out. we stopped for a cig on the way out. all 3 of us. i’m privy to amy’s secret. no one but me and gina knows she smokes. i dunno why she cares but eh. i don’t mind keeping it a secret.

so it poured all day monday and today. eric gave me a plaque, a cloth heart with my name and a necklace with my name on it. they were ‘souvenirs’ from his trip. it was almost creepy considering that i’m just a person that he says hi to and gets a morning hug from. i never see him outside of school or talk to him indepth really. he’d pulled out this big bag of shells and i saw a lil slinky key chain and i was expecting the slinky to be mine bc i have cute key chains on my purse but instead i got all the stuff that cost him money.. and had my name.. spelled wrong.. i don’t think he knows i spell my name debbi and not debbie, but i didn’t have the heart to tell him. i just was all surprised and had him put the necklace on for me, thanked him, gave him his hug, and asked people their opinions on whether or not they thought it was creepy. eh.

so yea. then i was at rehearsal until about 3:10 or so and i had to call my mommie to come get me (all the cars were in use today so i was out of luck *pout*) and she took me to chipotle. then i went back to school for spectrum which went rather well. it was fun at least. i talked to justin about nick and how nick’s recording with david whoev from nirvana/foo fighters and justin was all ‘what? what!?’ it was cute. i want to get nick’s album so me and justin can preview it and critique it. sean will want to hear it too.

BUT what’s awesome, is that sean’s showing interest in going to ozfest. sarah foley wants to go too. i figure if we can get one more person (or even if we can’t) maybe i could convince my parents to let me go when it gets closer to us. of course, i dunno exactly how close it’ll get at all. the closest it may get is northern florida to northern georgia to tennessee. i’ll find out from nick.

i called danny and talked to him for a bit. i may go meet him at game swap after me and gina go get her a dress on friday. i have resolved to drive her around cincinnati until she purchases a dress bc prom is weekend after this upcoming. i’ll take her to the bridal place where i got mine and if she doesn’t find anything, i’ll take her to wendy’s and if she still doesn’t find anything, i will force her to decide on one she’s seen and we’ll go straight to that store and she will charge it on her card and if she’s all ‘but it doesn’t fit me right’ then we’ll head back to reading to lucy’s for alterations. then we can go looking for shoes and jewels and junk. yay gina and prom shopping!

but yea. other than cramping slightly, today was a vast improvement over yesterday.
